Karen O has confirmed to The Sun that YYYs are working on their fourth album atm. I imagine it'll be out some stage during 2012.

She is also bringing her opera to London :o

Why did you open a new topic when you don't know the album title, artwork, tracklist or even the first single? This is ridiculous (and it's not for the first time). Just to be the first poster?

No. Gives people an opportunity to go back over their past work and refresh themselves with the artist or post any comments which they care to. The Ladyhawke thread had pretty much an entire page before we knew any of those details. I apologise for it upsetting you as extensively as it does and hope that, with time, you'll be able to come to terms with the reality of this thread.

Working with James Murphy (formerly of LCD Soundsystem) on the new record.

Excellent! I hope the new YYY album will have many dance-punk influences (James Murphy is expert in that field). Any record produced by Mrurphy can't be bad.

Released 'Spring 2013' according to the bad themselves. Yesss.

Not as scary as Gossip's A Joyful Noise cover but still quite spooky
I hate that cover, it looks like a cheap first album by some hideous pub metal band.
Definitely a bit of a come down from the 'It's Blitz!' cover...

Honestly so excited, I miss them!!!

That cover though...LOL god I kind of love it though lol

The cover is hilarious. It's got a touch of 'late 90's office screensaver' about it. All we need is a dancing baby and some expanding/contracting coloured blocks in the background and the image is complete.

Much excitement for album № 4. They've yet to put out a bad record to date (Show Your Bones wasn't ALL THAT but hardly a poor release).

I love every album by these guys and gal, even if they drastically change their sound. So stoked for this!
I think they're excellent, but Fever To Tell is the only truly great album they've done for me.

Still, I'm anticipating this.

Out you go.
