December 22, 201114 yr I actually really like 'Forever yours'. I didnt know what is was until people started talking about it, so I checked it out. I think its actually a really good song, regardless of whether its a campaign or not, so I would like to see it stay top 5. Having said that, I wouldnt mind if Coldplay or Avicii suddenly over took it as they are my favourite songs at the moment. Edited December 22, 201114 yr by jkac
December 22, 201114 yr Chris Moyles-backed single Dominick The Donkey has sold 55,124 units according to the latest Official Charts Company data – putting it at No.3 in today's Midweek chart update. Wherever You Are from the Military Wives and Gareth Malone continues to dominate the rest of the field, with 389,636 sales - and now looks a dead cert for the Christmas No.1 position. Little Mix’s Cannonball remains at No.2 with 71,379 unit sales, whilst YouTube favourite Alex Day sits comfortably in fourth spot with 41,311. Coldplay’s Paradise is currently at No.5 with 28,060 sales. Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit drops two places from yesterday’s Midweeks to No.8, boasting 21,165 sales. http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?section...1047954&c=1

December 22, 201114 yr Coldplay sold 6,312 yesterday - if they continue to sell at that rate and increase a bit on Saturday (which has higher sales in general than Wednesday right?) they could end up just short of 50k for the week. Not bad. Hopefully they can keep selling at this rate for a while. Surprised to see Lou Monte so far ahead of Alex Day sales-wise :o I wish they gave us sales figures like this more often.
December 22, 201114 yr TEH SALES! Thank you. Little Mix were selling about 16-17k a day on Tuesday and Wednesday then. This way they will head for about 110-120k this week. Military Wives - about 600k for the week. And I can see the top-5 as it is. Unless Dominick the Donkey suddenly overtakes LM.
