I thought I might put this thread in the retro section for 2 reasons:

 

Firstly given the demographic for Buzzjack and that I have run an 80s thread in the main chart section before, there was markedly less interest views/ comments on the 80s thread compaired to the 90s/ 00s one I have done so it appears to be a more niche area of chart interest.

 

so secondly by placing it here it might have more appeal and generate more involvement, and also to see if it has support/ interest.

 

Furthermore you can have the list in one of two forms- either a straightforward list or in a format similar to how I usually post (about 3 a day) BUT if you want it in a list form then you'll have to wait as i'm posting it on another site and that will be done in the usual manner of my threads.

 

The thread is, as you may have guessed, an accompany thread to the one going on at the moment n the chart section re: the 90s but this is "The Top 200 Best selling female solo hits of the 80s" (I'll retitle this one if it goes ahead) and should be ready to go in about 2 weeks time!

 

So thoughts- interest? format?

As you've done the work to do it in your usual way then you may as well post it here too.

I actually think it should stay in the chart forum as the less elderly members may appreciate the opportunity to learn about the lesser exposed hits of the 80s. Seeing as it is female singers we're talking about.

I think having it in the main chart forum would suffice, it might even draw more older members to Buzzjack.

I'd love to see this and yes, the chart forum would be more apt.
