She's performing on the grand final tonight :D Also each act must sing a Lady Gaga song. Which is gonna perhaps be a trainwreck, given we have a Leona-esque belting diva (Melanie), a gruff rock singer (Josh) and an awful rapper/singer hybrid with a range of like 3 notes (Chris). I guess Melanie could do Paparazzi (she's versatile), Josh could You & I and Chris can just fuck off :D

 

 

Although I got a bit carried away, nothing is concrete confirmed :P

No, I could've come in and gone ''OMG MELANIE COULD DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!1'' but she could only really do Paparazzi or maybe Edge Of Glory. Josh could only really do You & I. And you know how I feel about Chris.... Very odd theme for the 3 left :/

It's kinda good it was bullshit, I couldn't have handled Chris butchering any Gaga songs :D

True, though its not good for 'Marry The Night'. Could've possibly gone top 10 if she performed it on the final, but oh well.

I don't think it would have, for some reason it's really not had much effect at all on the charts, for example Jessie J went down on iTunes after she sang Domino :lol: Might've been a nice boost though.

To be fair though, you can't really compare the performance of a track performed from a relatively unknown artist (in the US) mid-season, to how a Lady GaGa performance would boost the single on the final. It would've been nice to have seen a boost for 'Marry The Night' regardless of high it got. Gutted it flopped, its my favourite single so far this era.

There's still promo to come for MTN (New Years Eve thingy which gets >>10Million viewers iirc)

 

And hopefully it really picks up airplay after Xmas
