December 30, 201114 yr Author NO.07 Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts At number 7 on the chart is the amazing "Jar Of Hearts" which believe it or not I first heard in June 2010. GLEE did their own version of the song which made JOH become more recognisable in the US but it's sudden but pleasing success in the UK came down to a price reduction by Itunes :o This is just a musical masterpiece and is completely different to any song you find out there thesedays. Very deserving success IMO and I'm sure most of you will agree.
December 30, 201114 yr #09 Bruno Mars - Grenade Whilst being one of the most disliked songs on Buzzjack. "Grenade" by Bruno Mars shoots in at 9th place. I just feel the complete opposite to most of you about Grenade personally :lol: I just love it. Even now the song just never gets old even with overplay and everything. Definetly one of his best because it's such a good song "Throws Grenade" :D
December 30, 201114 yr Author NO.06 Adele - Rolling In The Deep The brilliant "Rolling In The Deep" comes up at 6. For this song Adele turned to doing a bit of country and it paid off and its just excellent in every way. Another song that despite lots of radio overkill and hype, just never gets old IMO and in fact still sounds extremely fresh to this day. This also gave Adele a huge no.1 in the U.S. despite reaching no.2 here. One more Adele song on the way. Can you guess what it could be :unsure:

That's just how my chart and music tastes are like and work :P 55: Extremely highly yes but I've been hooked for the few weeks. Maybe a little biased to pushing it as high as 55 but sod it. It's a great pop song :D My weekly chart is now defunct so this info is just based on what I like out of popularity not chart runs and stuff. "Moves Like Jagger" is number 5, somewhat a quite unexpected hit from so called flopstars Maroon 5 & Christina. MLJ is a great party song and gets everyone singing along well except Coldbray :lol: I'm pleased to reveal it's my 5th song of 2011 :cheer:
December 30, 201114 yr Author NO.04 Coldplay - Paradise Coldplay and "Paradise" enter at a very high no.4 on my countdown. Yes considering it been released recently, it was immediately one of their best ever song for me. It had to be amongst the greatest songs of 2011 for me. The whole song is just top class. Such a gorgeous record and hopefully it will grab the UK no.1 in 2012 :D I've never was a huge fan of Coldplay till now although they have released fantastic songs consectively since Fix You.
December 30, 201114 yr Author NO.03 Adele - Set Fire To The Rain Coming 3rd is the haunting "Set Fire To The Rain" by Adele. Adele really shows off the best of her vocal ability in this, very raw sounding grasp to her voice. Deep and meaningful. This is my personally fave from her with RITD running extremely close. She really has had an unstoppable year and to think this didn't get top 10 officially. I think that says it then, Adele is the most dominant female artist in my EOY chart this year.

The fantastic "Edge Of Glory" is a song I can relate to seeing I lost a family member last year (Grandparent). It's by far the best thing she's released from the Born This Way era. In fact it's up in her all time best for me TBH. Totally unique and excellent pop club tune from Queen GaGa. After 99 great songs missing out. Loads of chart hits, a small amount of flop singles and a very few selected album tracks. "Jealousy" by Will Young is at the top of the list. Never been one of Will's biggest fans but do like a selection of songs from his catalogue. "Jealousy" is probs my most played song this year. I'm just obssessed with it. Definetly up in his top 3-5 best songs for me. So pleased this did well in the charts as well considering he's deemed another of the irrelevant artists group. Anyway I'm really pleased that this is my number 1 of the year. Never thought this year out of all years would a Will Young song be my personal song of the year. It's incredible.

I'm not a huge Will fan but I've been addicted to Jealousy a lot and its definetly one of his best ever songs. I find it suprising to myself that I made him no.1 considering he's a artist who wouldn't ever really reach high in a EOY chart of mine. I love GF, It has a nice dance pop feel to it and definetly one of The Wanteds best IMO. Wish they would hurry up and release Arms but Christina is a one hit wonder regardless. Hey RocK That Body maybe oldish but it did manage low top 100 however I consider that really low for BEP and flop in some ways considering their successful domination in my 2009 EOY chart. Indeed it's well deserved. 5. I love it a lot but It didn't really feel like record of the year for me TBH :( Glad it reached your no.1 though. 13. Well I Can has done very well to reach 13th IMO. Great song from them. 25. Fair enough I guess Nickleback aren't most of peoples cup of tea. 31. It took a few more listens to really appreciate it as at first I found it extremely boring along the lines of I'm Yours but as time went on it became FAR superior to IM. Hes a nice guy too. He deserves the success :D 75. If anything had to be a great fit for Christmas No.1 then it would have to MWC. Another song that grew on me over time. 94. It's low because it a rather poor song (based purely on the chorus only not the verses) and a let down after Jealousy especially when theres better on the album. Thanks once again.
