Posted December 24, 201113 yr http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/1114/therobotchart.png So, I never ACTUALLY finished my Top 100 of 2010, so I don't hold out much hope for this, but we'll see what happens. So, I thought I'd post my Top 10 of 2010 in here: 10 The Saturdays - Higher 09 Daisy Dares You - Number One Enemy 08 The Saturdays - Ego 07 Nicole Scherzinger - Poison 06 Katy Perry - Teenage Dream 05 Timbaland; Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again 04 Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) 03 Roll Deep; Jodie Connor - Good Times 02 Katy Perry - California Gurls 01 Katy Perry - Firework SO, it's very much female heavy, but this year - I have had quite a few male #1s, so WHO'S GONNA BE #1 THIS YEAR IN MY CHART? WHAT WILL BE THE HIGHEST TRACK BY A MALE ARTIST/GROUP? LOTS OF QUESTIONS, LET'S FIND OUT SOME ANSWERS! Edited December 24, 201113 yr by ROBOT
December 24, 201113 yr Highest male artist, I'm going to take a stab at something by JLS Very pleasing to see Poison make the top 10 last year. Four Katy Perry songs
December 24, 201113 yr I predict: 1. Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) 2. Katy Perry - E.T. 3. Jennifer Lopez feat Pitbull - On The Floor (just to break things up a bit) 4. Katy Perry - The One That Got Away :o
December 24, 201113 yr Author You massively over-estimate my levels of loondom! :o (The album has been out like 18 months, you do over-estimate my levels of loondom!)
December 24, 201113 yr Author MY TOP 5 MOST HATED OF 2011: 05 Wretch 32 (feat. Josh Kumra) - Don't Go bj1BMpUnzT8 I really loved Traktor, it was very different, quite grimey. Unorthodox wasn't as good, but was still very good, and the Example chorus was very good. This, however, the song to get him a #1, was just SO BORING, the chorus's lyrics were embarassingly 'nursery rhyme', and it was a big letdown. 04 Maverick Sabre - I Need GZNtticFI60 I've got nothing wrong with people having different voices, and they don't even have to have great diction. I loved Diana Vickers music. But, this is just too much, he sounds like he's not even saying words. His tone is annoying, and this is just dreary boring crap. 03 Bruno Mars - It Will Rain W-w3WfgpcGg&ob=av2e I can bare Bruno more than most, and he has some songs in my Top 100 of the year actually. But, for me ballads can either be beautiful and some of my favourite songs of all time, or they're just dull. This is dull, and his voice grates on it too. 02 Lana Del Rey - Video Games HO1OV5B_JDw There is actually nothing to this song. Someone Like You live, had very little backing, but the powerful and emotional vocals were what made it for me. This is very stripped back, and Lana sings it as if she's bored. And, so am I listening to it. 01 Aloe Blacc - I Need A Dollar iR6oYX1D-0w UGH, this is DEFINITELY the worst song of the year. It's not boring, as I've described pretty much all the other 4 songs, but it's CRAZY ANNOYING. The chorus 'I need a dollar, dollar, dollar is what I need' repeated, is just really annoying, and it's just like UGH STFU. :)
December 24, 201113 yr Author Your top six from last year proves otherwise :o The album was a lot newer to me last year! For example, The One That Got Away, I've been listening to for 18 months, so Katy isn't as high as you may expect in this countdown!
December 24, 201113 yr The album was a lot newer to me last year! For example, The One That Got Away, I've been listening to for 18 months, so Katy isn't as high as you may expect in this countdown! I can appreciate that. Hence why Last Friday Night is a lowly #62 in my EOY chart despite having the video of the year and being one of my favourites on the album :drama:
December 24, 201113 yr I love all of those songs except 'I Need'. 'It Will Rain' in particular is somewhere up there in my favourite songs of the year. Boo.

January 1, 201213 yr Author 100 // Wretch 32 (feat. Example) - Unorthodox MKXon7Y5EDM So, Wretch was in my hate list with his #1 song, but his lesser hit scrapes in at #100. And, his even lesser hit is higher up. I've been a huge fan of Example this year, and his chorus adds to this massively. The sample works really well, and this was another great song from Wretch. Shame 'Don't Go' let it down. 99 // Rachel Adedeji – Follow The DJ indLcCY2878 A pretty WTF choice for my Top 100 choice, so maybe it's justified by it being low down. But this track by X Factor reject Rachel Adedeji, was so ridiculous catchy, it was one of my most played songs of January (I think it was premiered then). So, yeah, it feels right to include my favourite voiceover name of all time in this list. 98 // Jennifer Lopez feat. Lil Wayne – I’m Into You IgLcQmlN2Xg A massive step-down from the amazing release, 'On The Floor', yes this was. But it was still pretty good for about a month, it's just that it's exactly what I'd expect J-Lo to release to become relevant in 2011. Never the less, the chorus is v catchy. 97 // Rizzle Kicks – Down With The Trumpets 8ip8OsExLJs IDK where the fook Rizzle Kicks seemed to emerge from (they just came out of nowhere). But, this was a very good introduction, full of character and really good lyrics. A very catchy hook, and a rap that was simple enough for me to learn. BAM! 96 // Danny - In The Club d_iz6e3ETPg The first of 5 (I think) Melodifestivalen songs in my countdown, and it goes to one of my favourite Swedes, Danny. Production wise, this was fantastic, very current, though I think the chorus was probably a little too repetitive. I'm confident he'll come back and SMASH IT in 2012.
