Man City will not win the league. They looked f***ing shocking from what I saw. So dis-jointed, unbalanced etc. there's no way they'll win the league. Hart is the only reason they came away with a point.

They will take time to gel but in a month they will be near on unplayable, with Milner and Balotelli and by all accounts Suarez to come into the team they will be hard to stop this season

Man City will not buy Suarez LOL, how many strikers/attacking players do they need? They're at their limit now with the 25 squad rule. No chance they'll win the league...i'd LAY them to not win as I cannot see them beating Chelsea or Man Utd.
Too easy for Chelsea.

Yes, West Brom were very poor. Looks like they still think it gets boring if they play in the same division for too long.

Wigan 0 - 3 Blackpool :o

Lee Cattermole first sending off of the season, non-shock?

Ridiculous decision by Bruce to give him the captains armband. You want your captain to spend as much time on the pitch as possible, and its obvious to everyone that Cattermole was going to get at least one sending off/suspension at some point - albeit I wasn't quite expecting it half an hour into the season.

I've not seen either incident but apparently his first yellow was soft. It hardly excuses him being dismissed and he has to take a large portion of the blame for today's result.

Oh, and the referee today was shocking. Our penalty wasn't a penalty, their free kick from which they scored looked very soft, he was terrible. His first game in the Premier League and it showed with his inconsitency and inexperience, he had no control over the game whatsoever. In other words, he'll fit right in.

Well today was a mixed game. First half an hour or so Forest played as well as I ever saw them play last season. Second half I don't think I've ever seen us play so bad. Utterly utterly dreadful.

I didn't think either were particularly harsh, and considering he'd been booked already it made the dreadful challenge for the second booking worse.

Ridiculous red tbh, should have been a yellow as was a bit late but he went for the ball so was hardly a Keane/Haaland challenge

Deserved a yellow card IMHO but red was way harsh

Serves him right for being such a cunty knobhead with the Fabregas saga.

But yeah what a terrible performance from Arsenal, if we don't sign a goalkeeper i will kill myself.

Yeah, having seen replays of both they both warranted yellows.

I like Cattermole, I think he's a good player but Christ he's not half thick. Such a poor choice as captain.

Who would you have has captain though? You seem to have one of the less settled teams in the Premier League, quite a few new players too...

I'd rather have had Turner personally.

It was another illustration of how the laws are too prescriptive. If he'd shown a yellow he would have been marked down by the assessors. So, yes it was harsh but it was also understandable. Fortunately Keane/Haaland type challenges are very rare.

Reina best keeper in the Premiership my arse :(

I would have laughed my head off at him were it not against the scum

Will we see a worse goalkeeping cock-up all season?

Giggs and Scholes, a combined age of 71 but still among the best players in the league :D Berba was fantastic and will probably contribute to over a quarter of our goals again like last season (really don't get the hate from people including our own fans for him tbh)

Feel sorry for Roo though, really lacking confidence right now and just looks desperate to prove himself, he just needs one goal and I'm sure he'll be fine though.

And Ryan Giggs keeps his record as the only player to score in every Premier League / Premiership season at the earliest possible opportunity
