November 14, 201014 yr Author Love this so much! This has to be one of chelsea's biggest home league defeates in a while right? Since 2002. Man United were the last team to win at Stamford Bridge by 3 goals. Best Sunderland performance i've seen in my lifetime. Superb.
November 15, 201014 yr I live in Washington, around 5 miles from Sunderland. And when the final whistle went, my street exploded, and my street has about 5 houses in. Electric atmosphere throughout the city and workplace today, brilliant victory. Gyan and Zenden were brilliant, and Welbeck proved his worth. And yet again, Ashley Cole proves how much of a clown he is, honestly, whenever he gets the ball, you can assure the other team will get it. Most overrated player on Earth. Best LB? Jog on...
November 15, 201014 yr Author Washington's pretty evenly split from what I recall. I have mates who are Newcastle fans living in Washy. My new favourite gif: http://i56.tinypic.com/2ekk7yt.jpg Zenden
November 15, 201014 yr That still kills me, especially with the addition of Welbeck bopping along to join in :bounce:

November 20, 201014 yr Im so glad Craig is banned right now. He would be jizzing his pants all over the forums.
November 20, 201014 yr You definitely know he's going be having a bottle of champagne and a few glasses of younes kaboul tonight in celebration...
November 20, 201014 yr LOL Rooney gets a standing ovation. Sorry to the Man United fans on here, but some Man United are absolute tools...LOL
November 24, 201014 yr Peterborough are awful, absolutely terrible. We have a team and a manager capable of challenging right at the top of the league, yet the players don't seem to care and Gary Jonhson doesn't look like he has a clue, despite the fact he's done it before at a higher level  George Boyd is meant to be our best player, yet he's been one of the worst so far, outshone by a 21 year old who's spent his career so far in the Conference with Rushden & Diamonds and looks like he eats 100 pies a week. I thought Lee Tomlin would be a key player once he got a bit fitter, didn't think he'd need to be a key player so early on in his Posh career though  Key player so far (apart from Tomlin) this season has been Joe Lewis, even though he's conceded 39 goals in 18 league games, would have conceded about 80 without him, awful. The defence is awful, Grant McCann (despite everyone thinking he'd be great) is absolutely terrible, costs us a goal a game by messing around with the ball instead of clearing it. Says a lot when McCann missed the game yesterday and no-one knew why or cared in the slightest. Can't wait to lose in the FA Cup to Bury on Saturday, going to be another amazingly high quality game!
November 24, 201014 yr Are Bury good at the moment? Still hate them for stealing Andy Bishop...as sad as it is, Bury and Luton are York fans 'big' games these days, very good. Can't wait for Saturday. Damon I feel your plight. York had a very good team at the beginning of the season, but for whatever reason the signings we made in the close season didn't work out, and we struggled in the formation we played without Brodie and our manager resigned. Now our best player has gone to Luton and our talisman also wants to leave for Luton, but now we have got an exceptional manager who is getting the best out of a good-to-mediocre bunch of players. Perhaps what Peterborough need IS a change of manager...I hate the way clubs chop and change managers these days but in a lot of cases it is for the best.
November 24, 201014 yr LOL Rooney gets a standing ovation. Sorry to the Man United fans on here, but some Man United are absolute tools...LOL Really? I would say the reaction he got from the crowd was mixed at best...
November 24, 201014 yr Really? I would say the reaction he got from the crowd was mixed at best... My friend went to the game and he said everyone around him stood up and clapped (as did he, cos he's a tool!!!) and on a few different sports forums a few people have said he got a standing ovation when he came on.

Perhaps what Peterborough need IS a change of manager...I hate the way clubs chop and change managers these days but in a lot of cases it is for the best. Bury are 3rd in League 2 right now and won 5-0 away last night, although they have only won 3 out of 9 at home. But then our away record is awful anyway, so Bury's home record isn't much comfort  Most of the fans seem to want Johnson gone now, and the chairman has said we needed to win the next 4 league games, but that did include last night, so it's not started well.... I have a mate who supports Rushden so know a bit about that level, looks like York (and probably Rushden aswell) missed their big chance to get out of that league last season, Crawley (and 1/2 others) look so strong, with that Matt Tubbs going absolutely insane  Think Rushden went on a 7/8 game unbeaten run at one point and still couldn't get any higher than 5th, tough league, wouldn't like to be part of that haha.
November 24, 201014 yr Isn't the cup all about players beliving in themselves though? Although it kind of defeats the object, as it just tells you the players are only playing because it is a big game, instead of slugging it out in the normal matches!! Oh we definitely missed our chance last season. Our players just got stage fear at Wembley AGAIN. Should have gone up, and now we have to re-build the team again just like the last time we were in the play-offs (although not as bad this time hopefully). If Crawley don't go up this season they will go bust, but Luton are looking quite strong and so are Wimbledon. Still praying York have an outside chance of getting into the play-offs come May though...well, here's hoping.
November 24, 201014 yr Yes, Bury are a very strong team in League 2. Last season they were strong as well but went on a disappointing run midway through. Yes, Crawley, AFC Wimbledon and Luton are very strong sides in the Conference National (Blue Square Premier as I think it is now known).
November 25, 201014 yr LOL Rooney gets a standing ovation. Sorry to the Man United fans on here, but some Man United are absolute tools...LOL May I remind you that a certain fans favourite named Paul Scholes came on the same time  That was actually quite a genius move by Fergie to mask some of the boos for Rooney. Speaking of Rooney he did ok last night and I was really happy for him to shut up the twattish Rangers fans who kept booing him all night and cheering whenever he missed a shot when he scored the penalty.
November 25, 201014 yr Congrats to Spurs! Green light for the White Heart Lane redevelopment. Love the design: Fellaini is already on the pitch preparing the away match against Tottenham.. http://www.hollowearth.org/blog/uploaded_images/UkranianSoccerField-734527.jpg Edited November 26, 201014 yr by Thomsen
December 6, 201014 yr Author Newcastle sack Hughton with the team 11th in the table, the club say they want a bigger name in charge to "take them forward". Baffling. I really hope this all backfires on them and they go back down, the way Hughton's been treated this season is nothing short of disgraceful.
