The FA is terrible. They fine Ryan Babel for posting a picture of Howard Webb on Twitter, but nothing for a blatant elbow on another bellow...

I don't think Fergie, or Man Utd fans can complain really. Sure it was a bad decision, but how many decisions have gone against other teams in Man Utd's favour so far this season? More often than not will be the case.

It does seem the FA cares more about their referees than actually enforcing the laws of the game these days, but alas, maybe if they had better referees this wouldn't be an issue. BRING BACK SIAN MASSEY.

Saw the highlights from the Macclesfield-Wycombe game. Not sure how the referee picked out the other two players there.

Fergie has been charged and has until next Tuesday at 4pm to respond.

Sunday should be a good game. Expect there will be quite a few goals. If Agger is playing for Liverpool I actually think we'll win, but if he's not then Man Utd will win quite easily imo.

Can't believe Fergie's had the cheek to appeal against his fine either! Surely the FA/Premier League need to charge him for getting away with avoiding the BBC for about five years?

I think the club get fined each time Ferguson refuses to appear but it's a trifling sum. Now he's even boycotting the club's own television channel

I thought Man Utd would at least get a draw tbh. Our defence is so shaky without Agger or Kelly. Aurellio is made of glass (as shown again today) and Skrtel and Carragher are a disaster waiting to happen.

Thought Liverpool were excellent though, and it was a great advertisement for English football. Both teams wanted the victory, and it was a good open game of football. Suarez was absolutely fantastic. Exciting times!

This was a fantastic result, though wish we had captialised more yesterday! Big if, but if Arsenal can win all their league games, they're champions (big if I know, and same for United). 1 May could well decide the title.

Poor Swansea slipped up yesterday too, but at least so did Cardiff / Norwich / Forest. Championship is much more exciting than the PL once again.

Agreed about the Championship being exciting. Forest's long unbeaten run at home came to an end. Think a certain member here would be pleased with the Swansea result as she supports Scunthorpe, though she hasn't been around recently.

Carlisle in League one had an exciting game. Lost 4-3 right at the end to the league leaders Brighton.

Gutted about yesterday but it's been coming, we've been $h!te for weeks since Moussi got injured. Still, 36 home games without defeat is incredible no matter who you are.

Championship is interesting I agree! Looks like QPR are going to quite easily win the league, but it's anybody's guess for 2nd place and the play-offs. Hull City are on a very good run at the moment and seem to be hitting form at the best time. They've a brilliant manager, wouldn't surprise me if they sneaked the play-offs. Then again the same could be said for Leicester or Burnley. Then Leeds seem to be hitting form again, so it's anybody's guess really... I still think Swansea will get 2nd though.

When is this drunken old fool going to get away with spitting his dummy out? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/9416432.stm . Someone with balls needs to stand up to him, although it didn't go down too well for the last person that did...

Liverpool - Man Utd game was the 2nd best game of the day, the Wolves v Spurs match was unreal.

And also, the Championship is great so long as your team isn't in it. Very open and very unpredictable league, i'm glad we've stayed out of it.

I'd also like to say a big LOL to some of the Arsenal fans and Wenger about the result on Saturday, some of them are very, very bitter about it. Yes, the linesman had a mare with Arshavin's goal and they should have had a penalty but I think it's disrespectful to Sunderland to take anything away from what was probably our best defensive performance of the season so far. Very pleased with how we dealt with Arsenal yesterday, and we were well worth a point imo.

I suppose imaginary celebratory cartwheels were included somewhere in the response as well. Must have been a nerve wracking, nail biting game to watch. Heard the commentary.

Based on Sunderland's performance, I am guessing that Gordon might fear the loss of his No. 1 goalkeeping position? Very impressive goalkeeping performance from what I saw on the highlights.

I was only following the game on Final Score. When the Carlisle equaliser went in I thought that was two points thrown away so the next goal a minute later was a great relief.

As for the Arsenal game, yes the offside decision was wrong but it was very close. Unlike the decision in Arsenal's favour in the League Cup final.

Mignolet's done well in the games he's played, given his age and the fact this is his first season in the Premier League. Looks like he's going to develop into a very good keeper.

When is Torres going to score? :D

Effectively swapping him for Suarez and Carroll seems a very good piece of business!

Torres will never score because I have him in my fantasy football team. I'm not taking him out because when I do, he will score. Always seems to happen <_<
