Adeles decreases are catastrophically big!

Great start for Justin. Let's see if he continues to have big increases for the rest of the week, could help him secure #1 on the Hot 100.

 

I wouldn't say 'catastrophically' is quite the right word - it's had massive airplay and been a #1 so it's done excellent for her regardless of the decreases now. I don't know what previous airplay #1 decreases have been like at this stage though, to compare - are they larger than normal?

I'd say they're only big because of the newer stations being added last week, so that 23 or whatever will be going down in considerable amounts before levelling off then decreasing steadily.

I would say they're a fair bit bigger than usual but at the same time Set Fire did its job so no1curr really.

Plus the Hot 100 uses BDS, not Mediabase (this thread).

 

Someone did say (on anther forum) that Mediabase numbers need to be multiplied by 3/4 when doing the Hot 100 prediction.
