Adele sells another 100K+ copies of "21" this week in the US to remain atop the BB200. When will this album stop selling?! :)

It will not stop selling this year... Maybe next year....

Jessie J is FINALLY top 20!!! Ive been keeping an eye on it for about 4 months now! So pleased for her, I really hope this goes top 10 on the BB Hot 100, maybe even number 1? After Adele of course ;) Adele is miles behind number 4 though on audience impressions, although at the spped shes gaining it should be too long till she catches up...and overtakes :)

I just hope sales are strong enough then for a 3rd BB #1. When was the last time a British artist had a much bigger hit in the US than the UK? (I don't mean songs like Taio Cruz's "Break your heart" that was #2 in the UK and #1 in the US, but SFTTR didn't even crack the UK top 10 and could be a potential US #1).

Well there's 'Rolling in the Deep', which was obviously the year-end #1 in America, whilst being the second-biggest #2 hit of the year in the UK. Also 'Down' by Jay Sean was quite a big US #1, whilst being a medium-sized #3 hit in the UK. But that had a Lil Wayne feature, so was bound to do well State-side from his fanbase alone.

'Break your heart' was a number 1in both the UK & US....

'Break your heart' was a number 1in both the UK & US....

But again it required an American featured artist to break in the USA.

'Dynamite' was a lot bigger in the US than the UK as well - I know it missed #1 in the USA but it's one of the top 3 sellers of the decade so far in the USA I believe, while it was a big hit here but on nowhere near the same scale.

I was asking for a song by a British artist that didn't make the UK top 10 but made the US Top 5 or even #1. I guess we have to go as far back as George Michael "Faith" era where many of his US top ten hits and #1 were minor top 40 hits in the UK.

Natasha Bedingfield's Pocketful Of Sunshine? US #5 but never charted in the UK (may have never been released?)

Never released. I don't think it was even on N.B. Terribly managed campaign.

very stupid of them, not releasing her 2 best songs eve 'Pocketful' and 'Who knows' from N.B which was featured in many movies...

why is Rihanna still increasing????

can't they just move on to her next zillion singles???

I just hope sales are strong enough then for a 3rd BB #1. When was the last time a British artist had a much bigger hit in the US than the UK? Its not really about chart positions though is it? yeah SFTTR did miss the top ten but it was between number 11 and 15 for about 5 weeks (a long time for the UK) and has sold about half a million copies in the UK now, which is more than alot of number 1's here! It was just bad timing for the song in the UK thats all, plus the fact that something like 1 in every 2 households now already owns the song on '21',

8 (not all consecutively) - which I think is the record for a non-top-10 hit.
