its strange to see no Gaga songs even top 10 on here, when she dominated this when I ran it - Born This Way really did pick up quite a mixture of responses even on here where she was unstoppable in 2009/10!

16 "The Edge Of Glory" - Lady GaGa 75

28 "Born This Way" - Lady GaGa 35

43 "Judas" - Lady GaGa 20

I understand what you mean, but it's not too embarrasing though. She isn't the behemoth she was last year.

9. RIHANNA FT. DRAKE - WHAT'S MY NAME (148 POINTS)

You're so amazing, you took the time to figure me out. That's why you take me way past the point of turning me on...

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4 (IN 2011)
OCC PEAK: 1
RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 2
AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 16
AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 1
AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE: 37
RUN: [1-1-3-4]

Rihanna's fifth chart topper and the first of 2011's OCC #1s manages to end up at a very respectable #9, the follow-up to million selling "Only Girl (In The World". There was only the one "-5" in it's appearances, and is joined in the top ten by two other songs from Rihanna. This song wasn't a instant smash for me, but had it as part of my Loud album, and it dug it's self into my sub-concious, to the point that I quite enjoy it now.

Yay!! What's My Name? :cheer:

Probably could've had a really high score if it had all this top 10 weeks in 2011.

The highest regarded Top 10 of last year by a male soloist, goes to the electro dance number "Changed The Way You Kissed Me" by Example, who gained his first number one, and by far his most popular single to date, with a great hook the song stuck in both public & Buzzjack consciousness alike, with it being voted number one four of it's seven weeks.

Despite not being as universally loved on Buzzjack as some of her other female contempories, Beyoncé manages to finish highly in the 2011 countdown, in perhaps her last top 10 for while (until Blue Ivy's a bit older, any road), Bey goes the ballad route, which drew comparisons to previous hit Irreplacable, which I personally never saw. Unusually, whilst I instantly took to Run The World (Girls), this song took it's time to grow on me, but now I love it.

6 left; Two from Rihanna & Adele, and a showing from Maroon 5 & Jennifer Lopez.

I'll have a guess at:

1. We Found Love

2. Moves Like Jagger (unfortunately <_<)

3. Someone Like You

4. On The Floor

5. Rolling In The Deep

6. S&M

7. What's My Name?

8. Best Thing I Never Had

9. Jar Of Hearts

10. Changed The Way You Kiss Me

Can't believe CTWYKM is top 10 :o

Well you got the first four to leave correct (in the wrong order, however). Wonder how well you'll do on the order of the top 6?

The highest song on the list never to be voted the reshuffle number one, well it did have to compete with the heavyweight that was the yet-to-feature "Someone Like You", the song courted controversy with it's sado-masochistic lyrics, and was rather pathetically renamed to "Come On" on Radio 1. Despite never seeming to get the illustrious #1 on either the OCC or the rather more prestigious Reshuffle chart, the song still remains very popular, and Miss. Fenty with one song left for the final five.

Given more top ten weeks in 2011 than any other song, the extremely successful OCC #2 manages to gain a top 5, place after two Adele tracks, and two club anthems by Jennifer Lopez & Rihanna, even with Christina's cameo, the song is without a doubt the most popular song this year on Buzzjack with a main male vocal. Although some people detest this (Bray), I liked it, I couldn't understand why it was a million seller though, but it's still much better than fellow 2011 million seller Party Rock Anthem.

The second of three appearances for the biggest name in music for 2011, Adele's lead single off massive album 21, wa never being the OCC #1, a mistake rectified both on the reshuffle chart and in the USA where the single was the biggest-selling of the year, there's still the one Adele song left to do battle with two brilliant pop-dance songs, but who will win? Find out soon.

And hear, in bronze position, Jennifer Lopez uses her exposure as an American Idol judge to produce an international smash and one of the biggest comebacks in pop, the song is the highest placed song on the list not to recieve a "-5", and it only recieved one "-4", which shows how liked the track was, and how it never outstayed it's welcome in the top ten, but 3rd place is nothing to be sniffed at, considering she was beaten by the two biggest names in modern music at the moment, Rihanna & Adele.
Love On The Floor! I hope Adele is #1!

What's My Name? should've won this REALLY. :coffee:

Out of the final two though, I hope Someone Like You wins.

The runner-up, the biggest selling song of the year, and a song which seemingly brought back the piano-ballad to mainstream chart success, the song which seemed to some up the ridiculously massive-selling 21's theme of a broken heart. The song did well enough on it's own merit as an album track, debuting in the OCC Top 40, but it was THAT standout Brits performance which tugged at the heartstrings, and propelled the song to classic status.

There we have it, the winner, and just to show every week and vote counts, it wasn't until the very last week of the vote that WFL got the points it needed to overtake Adele, very-much a Calvin Harris production, the song is an uplifting club anthem which everyone cheers wtill when it's played out, not my personal choice as the EOY #1, but hey ho this is a democratc vote.

Pleasantly surprised at Maroon 5 being as low as #5 :o
