Ms. Minaj is at #35, "Super Bass" never seemed to set the chart along, struggling to find a top ten peak, it's still not left the top 100 songs though, nearly a year (43 wks) after it's entry. This was a sleeper hit for me, with me initially not seeing the fuss, coming round, making the leap of downloading it at the end of January, and then loving it.

Up next, is a leftover from 2010, Katy Perry with the first of her three top ten singles of 2011, this song and the song finishing immediately above it, managed to have the highest one-week score of any other song from the year.

The highest placed song on the list with a tally of just one week, after Amy Winehouse passed away last year, her best known songs re-entered the chart, with "Back To Black" perhaps her most iconic single/video, peaking the highest at #8, managing the top 10 for the first time. Something which the song deserves as is it beautiful. BTB finishes higher than Firework as it recieved three 5s compared to Firework's two.

A combination which proves irresistable to music audiences and Buzzjack alike, Non-British European female with dance single, the song was catchy enough and managed a long stretch in the top ten, I tired of this after a few weeks personally. MS finishes higher than BTB as it recieved six 5s compared to BTB's three.

Just edging out his second single is Ed Sheeran's third, Lego House, with a video including Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, was almost as popular as "The A Team", it's hanging around an age like it's older brother, and happens to be tied with Drunk (see next year's countdown) as my favourite of Ed Sheeran's songs.

Next up, another continental dance song, from the up-to-then unknown Sak Noel, it is one of the thirteen OCC #1s to have made it in the Reshuffle top 30, I personally don't like the song, even in clubs. The lyrics are too juvenile for my taste.

The second most popular of Katy's three 2011 top 10s, it had a weird OCC chart run with 5 weeks in the top 10 without rising above #9. This song is my least favourite of her Teenage Dream singles and the only one I never bothered to download. Like the video though.

My prediction for what ends up in the top 10 (in no particular order):

"Best Thing I Never Had" - Beyoncé

"Born This Way" - Lady GaGa

"Changed The Way You Kissed Me" - Example

"Don't Hold Your Breath" - Nicole Scherzinger

"E.T." - Katy Perry Ft. Kanye West

"On The Floor" - Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull

"Rolling In The Deep" - Adele

"S&M" - Rihanna

"Someone Like You" - Adele

"We Found Love" - Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris

I'm probably way off though.

#28 seems like a high finish, but if you were to ask at the end of 2010, who would be a good bet to win the 2011 Reshuffle YTD song, a lot of people would have guessed Lady GaGa's lead single from second album, Born This Way. However, the song seemed to be a decisive song, with half lapping it up, and the other half detesting it. For me, I was underimpressed when I first heard the song, now just under a year later, I've grown more fond of it. GaGa still has another song to come. BTW finishes highter than LFN (TGIF) as it recieved twenty-five 5s compare to LFN (TGIF)'s three.

Edited by Leonardo

I'm surprised Born This Way got lower than The Edge of Glory! :o I know the latter is generally the favourite of the two, but it only spent 2 weeks in the top 10 iirc. Must've scored highly in both weeks.

Even with just two weeks top 10, Heaven still manages a high place in the chart, the song didn't do it for me, which is just a case of this not being my type of song, although I can see it's appeal. I much prefer 'Next To Me'.

The Edge Of Glory actually got four weeks (initially two, and then re-entering the top ten for another two weeks), However, Emeli Sandé's Heaven only had two weeks and still managed to beat Born This Way, as did "Hold It Against Me", "Promises" and "Who's That Chick?" (In alphabetical order)

Oh yeah, of course. It re-entered after the music video didn't it.

I'm surprised Promises has done so well, but it's very deserved. I love that song. :D It's a shame it didn't get longer in the top 10 though lol.

Katy Perry, who'd like Eric Blob, would have guessed to have at a top ten finish, has her highest song at #26, the song being much different than any other song she has released and personally my favourite single from hers, prefer it without Kanye though, even though I do like Kanye.

A big surprise this song for me, first it was a surprise that it got to number one officially (Interesting Fact: Only #1 with "Promise" in the title, not to feature Cheryl Cole). But also the Buzzjack response, with a very impressive average score of 20, to prove Buzzjack has a more diverse pallette than it seems on the surface.

E.T. is absolutely AMAZING. That song is so good. I love it. I don't know what it is. Those screeching sounds in the chorus.
