An update on some old random tracks/album tracks that are have been hanging around the top 1000 for ages.

140 - Cooler Than Me (Mike Posner)

158 - All Fired Up (The Saturdays)

212 - Where Have You Been (Rihanna)

250 - No Air (Jordin Sparks ft Chris Brown)

265 - Count On Me (Bruno Mars)

401 - She Said (Plan B)

406 - Princess of China (Coldplay ft Rihanna)

464 - How To Save A Life (The Fray)

465 - Look At Me Now (Chris Brown ft Busta Rhymes and Lil' Wayne)

498 - Won't Back Down (Eminem & P!nk)

568 - Look At Me Now (Chris Brown ft Busta Rhymes and Lil' Wayne)

Look At Me Now is sometimes selling more than Yeah 3x and Champion, which is a strange thought. Even though it charted at #44 in the UK, it was the biggest hip hop song of 2011 apparently. I would've liked it to chart top 40 just one week, only to see Buzzjack's impending meltdown. I know 99% of this forum would hate it "Wherez the chorus!?!?!111. Imma mute my radio"

Won't Back Down, even though it's an album track from 2010, is always selling, which is quite incredible, especially since it's not a very good song. It gets used in lots of first-person shooting games, adverts, and all that sort of stuff, which is why I think it still sells so much.

Also, some others:

129. Adele - Turning Tables

202. Drake ft. Lil Wayne - The Motto

234. David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On - Up to #13 on US iTunes without a video! :o

354. Ed Sheeran - Drunk - Apparently this will be his next single

377. Beyonce - End of Time

402. One Direction - One Thing - They actually have a lot of album tracks in the top 1000

424. Chase & Status - No Problem - This was used in an advert

529. Jessie J - My Shadow

656. Beyonce - I Was Here

753. Eminem - 'Till I Collapse - This is truly amazing. It's an album track from over 10 years ago, and an iTunes top 1000 staple. And it's sold over 1 million downloads in the US!

777. Olly Murs - In Case You Didn't Know

778. Beyonce - Party

808. Coldplay - Hurts Like Heaven

It's already big across the whole Capital Network. Saying it's had no airplay is a poor excuse.

Yeah, Capital are playing it a lot now. It seems sometimes a lot of people on here just say anything that's not on the Radio 1 playlist is getting "no airplay". Which does annoy me tbh.

'Turn Me On' was used on last nights Big Brother.

'Look At Me Now' is an absolute tune. It shoulda done so much better.

Ahh. Thanks to Big Brother. :D Turn Me On is usally quite high anyway. And I can see it re-entering the top 100 when its music video for its US release comes out.

Marry The Night  #35 (Please go to 59p next week)

Born This Way #101

Telephone #104

All of her songs keep getting discounted, except MTN. It's so f*cking frustrating

Is she releasing another single from Born This Way? Marry The Night has underperformed I guess throughout Europe. Thankfully Born This Way & Edge Of Glory have helped this campaign be a success!

Marry the Night already got discounted once. It must've been back in September I think? And it didn't even enter the top 1000 with the discount!

If Lady Gaga releases another single, I guess the most-hyped album track is Scheisse, but that's not even in the top 1000, so I don't really think it can be that popular. Hair could do well, since it was a promo single. It's in a similar situation to Titanium, which is doing great now (although, again, Titanium didn't free-fall out of the top 1000 like Hair did, so maybe Hair wouldn't be that popular).

If I were Lady Gaga, I'd remix one of the album tracks for its single release tbh.

Video Games is being performed on some chat show thing right now (don't know which one). Expect a boost tomorrow then.
Not sure if the UK version will have it too - but Cher Lloyd's 'Want U Back' is set to feature Astro (a finalist from X Factor USA) on the US release. Am interested in hearing it, although it's hard to imagine Cher having another hit - 'Dub on the Track' was actually quite good - but unless UK rappers make dance tracks, it's unlikely to do well.
the videos is out already and its got Astro in it so u can listen to it here :D

Jonathan Ross, should receive a big boost hopefully :D

Florence + The Machine next week :D

354. Ed Sheeran - Drunk - Apparently this will be his next single.

I think he hinted a while back that 'Wake Me Up' will be the fourth single. Regardless, the music video has been filmed and he claims 'it's the first one I actually star in' - seemingly forgetting he appears in You Need Me, I Don't Need You and Lego House (although both as cameos).

Fingers crossed it peaks at #6 to keep up the discography.

I do hope that Wake Me Up is never a single, the only song on the album I don't really have time for, Lego House is on the acceptable side of soppy but Wake Me Up is like a Match.com advert, sickly and overly sweet.
Domino's started to fall away in the last few hours, dropped 2.5% - hopefully it's just a blip and will bounce back again :)

Tbh I can see his next single only getting top 20 at the most. Only a few artists can manage 4 top 10 hits from one album these days.

I really hope 'Domino' keeps up the momentum and overtakes Flo Rida. It can't fall back now. :(

I don't see the hype around Video Games, It's dull, boring and overrated.

I really like Video Games (although I agree it's a bit overrated, there's other great songs in the chart which nobody ever talks about ). I don't know why I like it, I just do. It's quite nice to listen to I suppose, and it's very different too.

Wow, there really is nothing out next week. I think maybe Nicola Roberts might be top 40 in the Tuesday mid-weeks from her physicals, etc. and then drop out by Wednesday lol. So I guess it's just Flo Rida vs. Jessie J next week. I'd prefer Jessie J to get it, as I don't really think Flo Rida deserves 2 weeks.

I think it's quite obvious Jessie J will be number one next week, it would have been a perfect time for a release from a front loaded artist next week. I doubt Nicola Roberts will even make the midweeks next week to be honest it's not even in the top 500 on iTunes. What a flop of an era she has had, her singles have not sold over 10,000 either has her album what is awful as she's considered to be a high profile name.

25. Pitbull & Chris Brown - International Love (I hope this somehow manages to sneak top 10)

48. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars (This should go top 40 next week)

709. Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love

796. Nicola Roberts - Yo Yo

881. Chris Brown - Forever (Wow at how this is still 1000 on iTunes)

He's in the video for The A Team too. I think he means he'll be the 'main role' and not just a cameo.
