You mean the one for The Motto? Its out. Its tragic. Lil' Wayne is wearing uggs, Drake is in a leopard print puffa jacket

Yeah, I've seen that one. But it's the 3rd single. The 2nd is Make Me Proud, but that's the reason I think he'll just not make a video for the 2nd single at all, since he's already done one for the 3rd single.

The clothes some rappers wear now does really annoy me, for so many reasons tbh. Well, they can all wear what they want, but it's like since Kanye West is being seen as some sort of fashion icon by some weird people, all the other rappers are trying to do the same. Lil Wayne's shoes wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that they were FLOURESCENT GREEN. Whenever a rapper wears something, you know you're going to see lots of people wearing it in real life a few months down the line, so I'm a bit worried, but at the same time, nobody is going to be stupid enough to wear anything like those, surely?

The music video is fantastic apart from that imo.

Troublemaker should be Top 10 very soon, and probably peak somewhere in the Top 3. Anyone think it could end up beating Flo Rida to No.1?

I think it's too late for Taio Cruz to get #1 this week, but maybe he could climb there next week? It depends if there's any big new releases out.

I heard a new Scissor Sisters song today. It feels a bit like they're trying to do LMFAO. It's better than Fire With Fire though.

Will she beat the worldwide sales of Michael Jackson's Thriller? I guess that's her next target isn't it?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Surely the next target would be 20 million i.e Oops! I Did It Again. Then after that, Come On Over I guess? I doubt she'll get near that though. Nobody will ever even come close to beating Thriller's (supposed) sales.

Same here, it sounds like a reject Flo Rida track. :( its got more of an urban sound to it.

If there are any One Direction loons on this thread, 'Gotta Be You' is FREE to download today on iTunes due to the 12 Days of Xmas offer. I really hope I didn't miss much from the past few days.

Disagree with that. I've heard '21' a few times and it was the dullest, most depressing thing I ever heard in my life. The three singles are fairly good (although ruined by airplay), but the album as a whole was quite boring for me.

Depressing? No one could really deny the brilliant musicality of 21. Yes people are obviously allowed to dislike/hate the album, and I'm no Adele stan, but I couldn't argue with the claim "musical masterpiece". It is very rare in today's music industry that something that is so critically acclaimed becomes just as commercially successful. I guess, due to the nature of the album, you have to have an emotional connection to the songs to fully appreciate the quality of the album.

I was only interested in 21 when I lost a girlfriend at the start of the year. After I got over that, the album got very uninteresting. it sounded AMAZING at the time though. It was describing exactly how I felt. "Someone Like You" is a song everyone can relate to.

Yeah. I don't want to be pessimistic, but it looks like we're going to have another generic year for music. If all the returning artists are going to comeback with tracks like that, it won't be good. And just Flo Rida being #1 with a generic song, and Taio Cruz getting into the top 10 with almost no promotion with a generic song. It's just not looking good so far. :( Oh well.

I've never been in a relationship personally, but I do like some of Adele's album. Like Rolling in the Deep, I like, just because it's simply really catchy to me. Even though I don't think I know most of the lyrics to it still.

Troublemaker  #10

Move Like Jagger  #11

:D The second version of MLJ seems to be dropping quite quickly as well so there may still be a chance it'll stay out of the official top 10 again this week.

Troublemaker should start climbing a lot quicker now with the top 10 effect and whatnot.

 26. Pumped Up Kicks - Foster the People :D

 60. Hold On (Original Mix) - Skepta

Surprised to see this doing so well, I haven't heard it once yet. I hope SBTRKT's brilliant song of the same name can climb into the chart in the coming weeks as well. (I remember Radio 1 playlisted both in the same week and I thought it was a mistake )

When is it likely that these itunes gift cards will stop taking effect in the charts?

^usually quite soon, atm there isn't a lot out though, so nothing's really gonna push them down

35. Do It Our Way (Play) - Alesha Dixon  :(

How on earth this is doing so well anyway is beyond me, so cheap and forgettable  it reminds me of about six other songs all in one

Any reason for this sudden resurgence? Was the ad played on some high profile TV show ad break?

 66. Home Again - Michael Kiwanuka

This is going to miss the top 40 entirely now isn't it :(

 101. Pelican - The Maccabees

Hope this goes at least top 100.

Top 100 update coming in a bit. Hopefully. :P

Yes, the only reason I am a big fan of Adele is because I have an emotional connection to most of the songs  :(

I think the 'Sound of 2012' list is announced all this week (Niki & The Dove were announced as 5th today) so if he's on it, that will definitely give the song a bit of a boost (I don't think its received that much promo anyway apart from big radio 1 support)

I hope it does, but he's not necessarily guaranteed a place in the top 5 anyway (although the fact he was up for the BRITs' Critics' Choice award is probably a good indication I guess).

Glad Alesha got another boost there. Keep on playing it TV. I really want her to have another top 40, at least.
