Hey Hits! I voted for Cazzi Opeia, but only because I overlooked Queen of Hearts! :o She's sticking really well for me after a dramatic early fall

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] Lovely #1, though I am struggling to love it as much as Blue Jeans and Video Games so far

02 (01) Azealia Banks - 212 (09-07-04-02-01-02) [6 wks]

03 (--) Cazzi Opeia - My Heart In 2 (03) [1 wk]

04 (02) Charli XCX - Nuclear Seasons (14-09-06-06-02-01-02-04) [8 wks]

08 (--) Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (08) [1 wk]

10 (05) Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love (01-01-01-01-02-02-02-02-02-04-07-05-05-10) [14 wks]

11 (--) AlunaGeorge - You Know You Like It (11) [1 wk]

12 (--) Rihanna - You Da One (Dave Aude Remix) (12) [1 wk] Not heard this - a vast improvement on the original?

14 (08) Coldplay - Paradise (10-10-05-05-04-07-06-08-09-13-14-17-11-10-08-14) [16 wks]

18 (11) Avicii - Levels (05-03-05-10-12-11-18) [7 wks]

19 (--) Queen Of Hearts - Shoot The Bullet (19) [1 wk] The production on this is just superb. I first got introduced to her live and she has a really warm stage presence when she's not singing - and when she is it's delicious theatrics :D

20 (10) Little Mix - Cannonball (05-08-10-20) [4 wks]

22 (20) Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (01-01-01-02-03-03-06-09-09-07-11-11-13-13-19-17-20-22) [18 wks]

23 (15) Will Young - Come On (03-03-05-08-12-13-15-23) [8 wks]

24 (21) Lana Del Rey - Video Games (01-01-01-02-02-02-03-04-04-07-10-10-12-13-15-16-18-20-21-21-24) [21 wks]

27 (22) David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium (04-03-03-05-06-07-06-08-09-11-12-17-19-22-24-26-29-31-26-22-27) [21 wks]

28 (23) Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix) (01-02-02-03-05-05-09-18-23-24-24-29-28-23-28) [15 wks]

31 (25) Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out (16-16-12-18-15-03-04-07-11-20-23-29-25-31) [14 wks]

34 (27) David Guetta feat. Usher - Without You (08-08-07-04-07-08-12-21-24-30-27-34) [12 wks]

36 (24) Example - Midnight Run (16-16-22-24-36) [5 wks]

37 (28) Loreen - Sober (02-04-04-06-12-14-21-27-30-31-28-37) [12 wks]

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk] I don't mind this, but I'm surprised they've been allowed to be so flagrantly novelty, you'd think they'd want to gather a bit more respect at this stage!

Great chart! :D

Hello Hits, a nice clearout here,

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] - Lovely #1 in every way, and completely expected! It's very sublime, for me, slightly better than Video Games. I will be interested to see how it does for you in coming weeks though.

02 (01) Azealia Banks - 212 (09-07-04-02-01-02) [6 wks]

03 (--) Cazzi Opeia - My Heart In 2 (03) [1 wk]

04 (02) Charli XCX - Nuclear Seasons (14-09-06-06-02-01-02-04) [8 wks]

05 (03) Lloyd feat. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (01-01-03-03-05) [5 wks]

06 (06) Jessie J - Domino (06-06) [2 wks]

07 (07) Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (11-07-07) [3 wks]

08 (--) Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (08) [1 wk] - I think you know I was a big fan of this entry, so nice to see it getting top 10. I was slightly worried how long you were delaying it, hopefully it'll still stick around for a long while.

10 (05) Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love (01-01-01-01-02-02-02-02-02-04-07-05-05-10) [14 wks]

13 (--) The Charlies - Monster (Eat Me) (13) [1 wk]

14 (08) Coldplay - Paradise (10-10-05-05-04-07-06-08-09-13-14-17-11-10-08-14) [16 wks]

15 (--) Unicorn Kid - True Love Fantasy (15) [1 wk] - A track that certainly doesn't sound like what I expected, Unicorn Kid is rather good with production, and he manages to make this a very euphoric 4 minutes, just a shame that it was entered into such a good BJSC, from my point of view.

17 (09) Ed Sheeran - Lego House (02-01-01-01-01-01-03-06-07-09-17) [11 wks]

18 (11) Avicii - Levels (05-03-05-10-12-11-18) [7 wks]

19 (--) Queen Of Hearts - Shoot The Bullet (19) [1 wk]

26 (17) Flo Rida - Good Feeling (05-04-04-09-14-19-17-26) [8 wks]

27 (22) David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium (04-03-03-05-06-07-06-08-09-11-12-17-19-22-24-26-29-31-26-22-27) [21 wks]

28 (23) Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix) (01-02-02-03-05-05-09-18-23-24-24-29-28-23-28) [15 wks]

31 (25) Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out (16-16-12-18-15-03-04-07-11-20-23-29-25-31) [14 wks]

33 (04) Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra – Wherever You Are (04-04-33) [3 wks] - Very big drop! :o Is it Christmas being over with or something of the like?

34 (27) David Guetta feat. Usher - Without You (08-08-07-04-07-08-12-21-24-30-27-34) [12 wks]

35 (26) Aura Dione - Geronimo (06-06-08-12-18-24-26-35) [8 wks]

36 (24) Example - Midnight Run (16-16-22-24-36) [5 wks]

37 (28) Loreen - Sober (02-04-04-06-12-14-21-27-30-31-28-37) [12 wks]

38 (31) Professor Green feat. Emeli Sandé - Read All About It (03-03-05-08-10-15-22-27-33-31-38) [11 wks]

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk]

Great chart! :D

Hey Hits;

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] Beautiful song, for now it's matching the #5 peak of Video Games in my chart, I'm not sure where it will go next in all honesty :o

02 (01) Azealia Banks - 212 (09-07-04-02-01-02) [6 wks]

03 (--) Cazzi Opeia - My Heart In 2 (03) [1 wk] If you like this then it's about time you started following Melodifestivalen which yearly offers the very best that Scandipop has to offer :P

04 (02) Charli XCX - Nuclear Seasons (14-09-06-06-02-01-02-04) [8 wks]

05 (03) Lloyd feat. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (01-01-03-03-05) [5 wks]

06 (06) Jessie J - Domino (06-06) [2 wks]

07 (07) Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump (11-07-07) [3 wks]

08 (--) Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (08) [1 wk] Finally entering, and I'm surprised that it's this low actually, you usually get right behind your own entries :o Might it be another slow climber?

10 (05) Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love (01-01-01-01-02-02-02-02-02-04-07-05-05-10) [14 wks]

11-40

11 (--) AlunaGeorge - You Know You Like It (11) [1 wk]

12 (--) Rihanna - You Da One (Dave Aude Remix) (12) [1 wk] Does this remix improve the track much? I like You Da One but it's her poorest second single for quite some time - although I know you weren't big on What's My Name either.

13 (--) The Charlies - Monster (Eat Me) (13) [1 wk]

14 (08) Coldplay - Paradise (10-10-05-05-04-07-06-08-09-13-14-17-11-10-08-14) [16 wks]

16 (16) Taio Cruz feat. Flo Rida - Hangover (16-16) [2 wks]

17 (09) Ed Sheeran - Lego House (02-01-01-01-01-01-03-06-07-09-17) [11 wks]

18 (11) Avicii - Levels (05-03-05-10-12-11-18) [7 wks]

19 (--) Queen Of Hearts - Shoot The Bullet (19) [1 wk]

20 (10) Little Mix - Cannonball (05-08-10-20) [4 wks]

21 (--) James Vincent McMorrow - Higher Love (21) [1 wk]

29 (12) Leona Lewis - Hurt (03-09-12-29) [4 wks] This was good for about a week...time for Leona to move on from the ballad covers I think, I'm not saying that she has to go back to dance which didn't suit her but some original power ballads wouldn't go amiss.

30 (19) Amy Winehouse - Our Day Will Come (15-17-20-19-30) [5 wks]

31 (25) Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out (16-16-12-18-15-03-04-07-11-20-23-29-25-31) [14 wks]

33 (04) Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra – Wherever You Are (04-04-33) [3 wks] Bloody hell :o Steepest drop ever in your chart? I'm still listening to it a fair bit surprisingly!

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk]

40 (--) Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild And Free (40) [1 wk] Heard this earlier, will inevitably surely be a huge UK hit in a few months, albeit with the drug references censored for radio

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] SNAP we have the same #1 this week

In an ideal world 'Born To Die' would be #1 in everyones personal chart. :P I'm still hopeful that this track will be a big hit upon its release.

06 (06) Jessie J - Domino (06-06) [2 wks] One of her best tracks to date

Definitely. Her second best after 'Price Tag' and looks likely to be Jessie J's second UK #1 this weekend. :D

22 (20) Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (01-01-01-02-03-03-06-09-09-07-11-11-13-13-19-17-20-22) [18 wks] I can see the track going back up the chart pretty soon-ish

That's not really how my chart is compiled. Ie; when 'Alors On Danse' was a big hit in my chart by the time the track made the UK top 40, it was on its way down my chart and it certainly didn't get a massive boost because it had already been such a big hit in the first place. Likewise, Gotye won't get any massive boosts now - it's already as big as it could possibly be in my chart.

24 (21) Lana Del Rey - Video Games (01-01-01-02-02-02-03-04-04-07-10-10-12-13-15-16-18-20-21-21-24) [21 wks] just seen her perform the track on JR show, pretty amazing. Nice chart run expect it to climb next week :D

On iTunes earlier this evening 'Video Games' was as high as #13 which is incredible. I've really loved this song from the first time I listened to it. That opening section with the piano and then the soaring strings set the tone perfectly.

Cheers RFL :D

Oh, and many congrats on your wins in the Buzzjack Awards 2011. :cheer:

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] Lovely #1, though I am struggling to love it as much as Blue Jeans and Video Games so far

Really? :o From what I've gathered over the last month or so most people seem to like 'Born To Die' more than 'Video Games'. It's still too early to say which I prefer more - if this is still #1 in my chart in two months time then that'll confirm everything. :P

12 (--) Rihanna - You Da One (Dave Aude Remix) (12) [1 wk] Not heard this - a vast improvement on the original?

Personally, yes. I was watching Dance Nation one morning last week and they played this remix of 'You Da One' and it just seems so much better than the album. If I'd never heard this remix, I doubt 'YDO' would even be in my top 40 right now. :o

19 (--) Queen Of Hearts - Shoot The Bullet (19) [1 wk] The production on this is just superb. I first got introduced to her live and she has a really warm stage presence when she's not singing - and when she is it's delicious theatrics :D

The Sound Of Arrows have done a great job with the production on the track. Will be interesting to see if Queen Of Hearts gets a breakthrough single at some point in 2012.

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk] I don't mind this, but I'm surprised they've been allowed to be so flagrantly novelty, you'd think they'd want to gather a bit more respect at this stage!

The problem I have with JLS is that since the second album, they have released some of the worst boyband tracks I've heard in a few years. It's like JLS is now a brand and they think they can release anything and people will buy it. I don't know which track I detest more; 'The Club Is Alive' or 'Take A Chance On Me'. Both so different but equally as horrid as the other imo. :( I want more 'Everybody In Love' songs (it's their biggest hit in my chart :P ).

15 (--) Unicorn Kid - True Love Fantasy (15) [1 wk] - A track that certainly doesn't sound like what I expected, Unicorn Kid is rather good with production, and he manages to make this a very euphoric 4 minutes, just a shame that it was entered into such a good BJSC, from my point of view.

17 (09) Ed Sheeran - Lego House (02-01-01-01-01-01-03-06-07-09-17) [11 wks]

33 (04) Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra – Wherever You Are (04-04-33) [3 wks] - Very big drop! :o Is it Christmas being over with or something of the like?

34 (27) David Guetta feat. Usher - Without You (08-08-07-04-07-08-12-21-24-30-27-34) [12 wks]

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk]

Great chart! :D

Cheers Issac :D

Maybe it's become a tradition but my first chart of each year has to some extent been a clear out of the Christmas related singles that were charting the previous week.

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] - Lovely #1 in every way, and completely expected! It's very sublime, for me, slightly better than Video Games. I will be interested to see how it does for you in coming weeks though.

I think I've posted enough times about how much I adore this track so the chances of 'Born To Die' entering at #2 (or lower) was always going to be extremely thin. :D It's also a track that's entered my chart three weeks before release - when that happens, you know it's a song I like. It's too early to suggest this will be my #1 of 2011 (you never know what big hit is lurking around the corner) but purely going off my feelings on the song at the moment, I suspect that'll translate into a top 10 placing at least in my Chart of 2012. :o

08 (--) Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (08) [1 wk] - I think you know I was a big fan of this entry, so nice to see it getting top 10. I was slightly worried how long you were delaying it, hopefully it'll still stick around for a long while.

I was really surprised at just how much you loved this track. Likewise Johnkm but it's always nice (in a weird way) to think that I've entered a track that someone has discovered (where they most likely wouldn't have without BJSC) and they adore the song. I can't rememeber who it was but someone posted a really nice comment in the BJSC Final results when I entered Andain 'Promises' saying how much the song meant to them. Aww!!! I'd delayed 'Heavy Stone' along with the other big new entries so that they could capitalise on their points for 2012.

Believe it or not, this was my other contender for BJSC but I settled for Kyla La Grange in the end. As it was, Klumzee ended up entering this track anyways so it was a sort of win/win although I discovered 3 songs I liked more in the end.

33 (04) Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra – Wherever You Are (04-04-33) [3 wks] - Very big drop! :o Is it Christmas being over with or something of the like?

Pretty much exactly that. Post-Christmas I don't have much intention to listen to Christmas songs, and I hardly saw the video on TV, or heard it elsewhere to really keep the track at the forefront of my mind. Therefore in true Hits style, my New Year chart sees a faller like this. This time last year Coldplay 'Christmas Lights' exited my chart from #9. :o

Hey Hits;

25 (14) Cee Lo Green - Anyway (09-15-14-25) [4 wks]

26 (17) Flo Rida - Good Feeling (05-04-04-09-14-19-17-26) [8 wks]

27 (22) David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium (04-03-03-05-06-07-06-08-09-11-12-17-19-22-24-26-29-31-26-22-27) [21 wks]

28 (23) Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (The Magician Remix) (01-02-02-03-05-05-09-18-23-24-24-29-28-23-28) [15 wks]

34 (27) David Guetta feat. Usher - Without You (08-08-07-04-07-08-12-21-24-30-27-34) [12 wks]

35 (26) Aura Dione - Geronimo (06-06-08-12-18-24-26-35) [8 wks]

36 (24) Example - Midnight Run (16-16-22-24-36) [5 wks]

38 (31) Professor Green feat. Emeli Sandé - Read All About It (03-03-05-08-10-15-22-27-33-31-38) [11 wks]

39 (--) JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel? (39) [1 wk]

40 (--) Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild And Free (40) [1 wk] Heard this earlier, will inevitably surely be a huge UK hit in a few months, albeit with the drug references censored for radio

Cheers Richard :D

01 (--) Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (01) [1 wk] Beautiful song, for now it's matching the #5 peak of Video Games in my chart, I'm not sure where it will go next in all honesty :o

Do you think there's a slight chance of this topping your chart? There's still a good two weeks before the next BJSC domination is likely to take place. Or is it going to rocket downwards? :o

03 (--) Cazzi Opeia - My Heart In 2 (03) [1 wk] If you like this then it's about time you started following Melodifestivalen which yearly offers the very best that Scandipop has to offer :P

I've tended to check out the Melodifestivalen songs in a curious "I wonder what this is like" kind of way but my main focus is always on Eurovision itself - even if a load of garbage qualifies and a song I quite like falls in the semi final stage.

08 (--) Kyla La Grange - Heavy Stone (08) [1 wk] Finally entering, and I'm surprised that it's this low actually, you usually get right behind your own entries :o Might it be another slow climber?

Well 'Heavy Stone' has entered in a big week of high new entries. I don't think this is its peak and I'm sure it'll climb 'Something In The Water' stylee to its peak. I reckon quite a lot of this weeks lower new entries have a strong chance of climbing next week. :D

12 (--) Rihanna - You Da One (Dave Aude Remix) (12) [1 wk] Does this remix improve the track much? I like You Da One but it's her poorest second single for quite some time - although I know you weren't big on What's My Name either.

For me it does. Like I mentioned in reply to Eyes, I've only heard this thanks to Dance Nation where they only play this version. The original sounds cluncky and awkward whilst Dave Aude just about makes a song out of what he's got to work with. It doesn't even come close to 'We Found Love' and I'm sure this will have left my chart well before 'WFL' does.

29 (12) Leona Lewis - Hurt (03-09-12-29) [4 wks] This was good for about a week...time for Leona to move on from the ballad covers I think, I'm not saying that she has to go back to dance which didn't suit her but some original power ballads wouldn't go amiss.

After her X Factor performance, that really did help boost the performance of 'Hurt' in my chart. However, without a music video it's easy to start forgetting about these songs. Most of the time I tend to listen to video via the medium of YouTube. So like most of the other big fallers this week, it all comes down to the fact I've hardly played it/heard it over the last week.

33 (04) Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra – Wherever You Are (04-04-33) [3 wks] Bloody hell :o Steepest drop ever in your chart? I'm still listening to it a fair bit surprisingly!

I'm sure it's likely to be the steepest of drops although nothing will ever compare to Honeyriders 'Colour' going 02-OUT (although it was a top 20 back in 2004). Oh, how my chart was influenced by the people of Cool Clarity. I actually thought a "personal chart" was some type of game in the early days of CC where people would just chart randomly chosen songs for one week just to get it into the Multichart. Madness!!!

40 (--) Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa feat. Bruno Mars - Young, Wild And Free (40) [1 wk] Heard this earlier, will inevitably surely be a huge UK hit in a few months, albeit with the drug references censored for radio

It was on the release schedule a couple of weeks back and it's got close to my top 40 for the last fortnight but never quite made it. This week it finally sneaks in.

It was on the release schedule a couple of weeks back and it's got close to my top 40 for the last fortnight but never quite made it. This week it finally sneaks in.

1. It definitely won't be plummeting, but I'd say that the chance of it going to #1 in my chart isn't exactly huge either...I guess it'll stick around the mid top ten for a while...it's gorgeous but there's a tiny something or other missing for me at the moment for it to go all the way. Never say never though! Oh, and BJSC never dominates my chart as much as it does other people's, occasionally my 12 pointer goes top ten, and a few others low top 40 or something...in the history of me competing only two songs have ever topped my chart as a direct result of me discovering them via BJSC and that was Leddra Chapman's Story and the Frida Gold song.

8. Don't you usually chart your entries in tandem with the contest? Seems like you held this one back for longer than usual :o

12. It's defintely her weakest single in a very very long time. I mean I wasn't exactly a huge fan of S&M but I can appreciate why it was a massive hit, but You Da One as a single choice is just bizarre...

33. Oh dear, I don't recall that - although I vaguely remember that band/song  I was certainly never influenced by anybody on CC either, but then my chart's been going since 1999, at least four years before I ever set foot on an internet forum!

1. I hope it can stabilise in your chart next week at least. Would be ace to see 'Born To Die' hit #1 on the Buzzchart. It seems to be doing incredibly well in the charts I've seen so far. :D For some reason I just imagined that BJSC entries that you like tend to enter your chart in the semi final voting stages, meaning those that make the final tend to make it obvious what you've voted for in the final.

8. Which brings me to Kyla La Grange. Following my comment above, I don't like to enter my faves from BJSC into my Pre-Release chart before the final as that just gives away which tracks I've voted for. It therefore means people can already have a good idea what the Batidas votes are before they've even been announced. That's why I always enter them after the BJSC final. If my own entry manages to qualify, it enters earlier as I don't vote for that song myself. The only reason why it was "held back" was so that the track would capitalise on its points towards my Chart of 2012.

12. I actually liked 'S&M' in a tongue in cheek way similar to Katy Perry 'I Kissed A Girl'. They almost verge on novelty factors which ultimately makes them a bit more appealing because they are not intended to be serious songs. 'You Da One' is much better in the context of Dave Aude's remix. Then again, 'Umbrella' did well in my chart mostly because of the mash up I created combining 'Umbrella' with my own track 'Tell Me' which I produced round 2002. :D

33. I just tried searching for this on YouTube but it doesn't appear to have been uploaded by anybody. A true Cool Clarity forgotton classic? No...of course not!!!

1. That's true to an extent, and when I had a top 75 it was clearer to see what I'd be likely to vote for, but with a top 40 now I just don't have enough space for more than 3 or 4 BJSC entries a month, unless it's a REALLY strong contest!

8. As I just commented in my EOY chart thread, the only rule in my chart is that there are no rules - it might be a free for all but it completely represents my favourite 40 songs of that week and always has done since I started it back in 1999, complete with Corrs b-sides littering the chart  But I know different people have different methods of compiling to make things manageable for them, for example some personal charts just regurgitate the UK charts/release schedule in a different order, and those tend to be the ones I don't comment on, what could I possibly have to say? :drama: If my chart gives away what I'm likely to vote for in BJSC then it's one of those side effects of having a free for all chart (14 years in, it seems a bit pointless if I start bringing in rules now ) but I think people probably have a good idea anyway from looking at my odds, and the songs that I've been talking about in other threads - I know that I can usually tell where most people's 12s are going to before the results are even announced just from pre-contest discussion and hype! It's impossible to be completely impartial when doing odds imo, you'll always subconsciously bump up the songs that you're loving, unless it's blindingly obvious that they were going to flop!

12. I heard the remix actually and you're right, it's far better - it seems to add more of a melody to the song! Perhaps it will re-enter my chart - if I have enough room that is! But the Eurovision onslaught is about to begin, starting this week in fact!

33. Oh dear, perhaps it's on MySpace or something? :o

Hi Hits, I had to vote for Cazzi, thank you  As a reward I've commented both your main chart and your pre-releases :D

PRE-RELEASE CHART

02 (04) Pink - Bridge Of Light

03 (--) Martin Solveig & Dragonette feat. Idoling!!! - Big In Japan ( at Mikey thinking this is a cover, it's brill though, although I wish that Solveig would produce a single just for Idoling!!! (exclamation marks not optional) much as I love Dragonette)

04 (--) Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) (her best song probably since My Life Would Suck Without You for me :o)

06 (08) Florence & The Machine - No Light, No Light

09 (--) Renáta Tolvai & Gergo Rácz - Can't Let You Go (I actually like the Hungarian version better, they should send this to Eurovision though)

10 (--) Washington - Holy Moses

Great chart :D

1. Have you got any personal strong contenders for the next BJSC? I currently have two tracks but I'm leaning more towards the first option. It's a track that I like but it ultimately goes against Batidas as it's trashy dance/pop. May appeal more to other BJSC nations much more than 'Erase You' which was just novelty/dance/pop.

8. I've always had chart rules ever since 2004 so I'm the complete opposite - I'd find it difficult to change my chart format now after eight years. EIGHT years!!! :o :drama: Just two more years to go and then I plan on counting down A Decade Of Hits - Top 100 of All Time. It will be amazing. :D (assuming Buzzjack is still around come January 2014 of course!!! :kink: ).

12. Ahh, so you found enough in my chart then. :D I think 'You Da One' might actually stick around for a few weeks - can't see it going top 10 though.

33. To be completely honest, I've clean forgotton how the song even goes. It was just one week around April 2004 when people decided to chart it, and it disappeared as quickly as it entered.

PRE-RELEASE CHART

10 (--) Washington - Holy Moses

Great chart :D

Cheers Tom :D

03 (--) Cazzi Opeia - My Heart In 2 (03) [1 wk] (I had to vote for Cazzi, thank you  )

'My Heart In 2' was definitely my fave entry from the last BJSC. It reminded me of Infernal for some reason but in my books, that's a good thing. I think compiling the entries for SF1 also helped as I was listening to the songs as I went along. This was a highlight imo. :D

05 (03) Lloyd feat. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (01-01-03-03-05) [5 wks] (actually probably the best top 5 of any chart I've ever seen, LOVE all of these)

My top 5 is "the best" every week. :smoke: :P As for Lloyd, I'm glad to see this starting to climb back up iTunes. I couldn't help but :manson: when this was released, and that bloody T-Pain monstrosity ended up at #1 on iTunes. The fact '5 O'Clock' has plummeted every week since whilst this has stabilised proves just how much better/popular this song really is.

19 (--) Queen Of Hearts - Shoot The Bullet (19) [1 wk] (Nearly sent this to BJSC< glad I sent Cazzi tho)

'Shoot The Bullet' is a great song - another highlight from SF1 in the last BJSC too. :D There doesn't appear to be many new entries in my new chart meaning most of the new entries here will have the chance to climb to new peaks as the older tracks start falling down.

21 (--) James Vincent McMorrow - Higher Love (21) [1 wk] (must download this :o)

I'm slightly gutted that Michael Kiwanuka won the BBC Sound of 2012 because I honestly don't see what makes his music so special. James Vincent McMorrow has been releasing similar music (that's so much better) over the last 12 months and nobody bat an eyelid. -_-

22 (20) Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know (01-01-01-02-03-03-06-09-09-07-11-11-13-13-19-17-20-22) [18 wks] (nice run, bored of it already tho? :o)

No. not at all. It's just the track has already been as successful as it possibly can be in my chart. I've never had songs spend something like 5 months in my top 20. The same happened with 'Alors On Danse' in 2010. It made my chart, climbed to #1 and by the time the track had dropped out of my top 20, the track suddenly started charting in the UK. It stuck around for a few more weeks between 21-40 but never returned to my top 20.

25 (14) Cee Lo Green - Anyway (09-15-14-25) [4 wks] (glad to see this was top 10 for you too, it was almost a #1 for me, well a non-#1 since it's already way down my top 40 )

I think Cee Lo Green is a brilliant artist. Ever since the rise of Gnarls Barkley and 'Crazy' (which I didn't like instantly :o ), I finally got the deal after about 2 weeks. Cee Lo's solo singles have been great and I'm glad he managed to find some genuine chart success with 'Forget You!'.

27 (22) David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium (04-03-03-05-06-07-06-08-09-11-12-17-19-22-24-26-29-31-26-22-27) [21 wks] (wrong way though )

Like Gotye, 'Titanium' has already been such a massive hit in my chart, I wouldn't send this back into my top 5 now. I only watch the video now when it comes on the music channels but I hardly listen to the song via my computer as I've moved to more new/recent tracks.

PRE-RELEASE CHART

03 (--) Martin Solveig & Dragonette feat. Idoling!!! - Big In Japan ( at Mikey thinking this is a cover, it's brill though, although I wish that Solveig would produce a single just for Idoling!!! (exclamation marks not optional) much as I love Dragonette)

I did find Mikey's comment completely baffling. He's clearly never listened to Martin Solveig's song, looked at the song title and assumed very wrongly. If I read a review of 'Big In Japan' by Solveig and the reviewer wrote "I loved the original by Alphaville", I'd be thinking "sack this reviewer, they're CRAP!!!"

04 (--) Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) (her best song probably since My Life Would Suck Without You for me :o)

Hmm, I liked 'My Life Would Suck Without You' (it made #4 in my chart) but Kelly's biggest hit to date in my chart is 'Since U Been Gone' (#2 for me in 2005) and I reckon this stands a very good chance of being another big hit for Kelly Clarkson in the next couple of weeks.

09 (--) Renáta Tolvai & Gergo Rácz - Can't Let You Go (I actually like the Hungarian version better, they should send this to Eurovision though)

Oh, I'm not aware of the Hungarian version. I only know this via BJSC but it's actually grown on me post-contest.

Cheers Martin :D

1. Lana: I just can't wait for her debut album now, from what I heard so far from her, the album could shift some sales. I've already pre-ordered from HMV :D

6. Jessie: I wonder if she could hold on for a second week at #1 in the official chart, she seems to have a good lead on iTunes at the moment on the other hand she could crash with SHM knocking at her door tomorrow. Antidote seems to be a quiet release to me at the moment.
