It's best peak was in the italian charts at #3 and #5 in Canada. In the video Madonna played Louise Oriole, a high-powered Manhattan female executive who is an alcoholic and has a penchant for one-night stands with many different men. cameos came from Christopher Walken and a non credited part from Matt Dillion who played a cop. Walken played a guardian angel (or the angel of death). Madonna has only ever performed the song live once during an appearance on Saturday Night Live in January 1993. (The same night she also performed Fever). January 11, 201213 yr I think there is musch stronger songs on the erotica album. The video seems to be a fan favourite tho! I would not be desperate for this song to be included on a tour! On the first post of thhese threads can their be a list of songs that have all ready been 'songs of the week'? Therefore we can remember what we have discussed!

January 12, 201213 yr Oh it's a definite highlight of Erotica for me and I don't think I actually heard it until last year so it's still really fresh to these ears. Smoke too many cigarettes a day I'm not happy when I act this way... It's my LIFE ANTHEM.
January 12, 201213 yr The vocal is glorious, one of her best to date. I much prefer the pre-98 emotive voice which has forever been lost now :( The video is sublime though, her best by quite some margin (and given how amazing the likes of Express Yourself are that really does say a LOT).

January 13, 201213 yr I'm guessing you don't do illegal filesharing? Most of those could be picked up on CD for £3 or so I imagine on Amazon marketplace (maybe less), you should try and work your way through them because you really are missing out on lots of good stuff. Erotica is essential.
