Ok, so there needs to be some love given to the best network, in possibly the world.

The home of Fairly Legal, In Plain Sight, Covert Affairs, Necessary Roughness and Suits. (All absolutely amazing, literally AMAZING)

If you don't watch a USA network show, it's time to start. And I'd start with them all.

I'd recommend all of the above, HOWEVER, In Plain Sight isn't to every one's taste. The main character has a extremely dry wit that while I relate entirely to it, it may not be to everyone's liking.

I need to start watching White Collar (Seen a little bit of the show, it was bloody good), Burn Notice, Royal Pains and Psych. I'm looking forward to Common Law as well when that starts this summer, which would be every original show that the USA network make....#USANetworkFanBoy

I find their brand of procedurals so dry and boring on the whole. And they certainly do not hold a candle to ABC, Showtime, FX, AMC or HBO in terms of quality programming!

Their procedurals I would say are atypical and pretty awesome. In Plain Sight is particularly epic.

Necessary Roughness is the first time I've come across a show that centres around a psychologist. (I know there are probably others out there but I haven't seen any before.) It's a nice change to the usual CBS proceedural.

The type of procedurals that USA wheel out is the slightly quirky style that I love.

Ok, on episode three of Suits and am laughing at them attempting to pass off a Midland F1 car as a championship winner, some 4 years after the team ceased to exist.

My god I love the Americans sometimes.

'Burn Notice' is what my brother got me HOOKED on watching. You should definitely get into that Silas.

'Necessary Roughness' and 'Suits' I've only watched one or two of each, but really what got my attention was the fit lead actress (in the former) and the fit lead actor (in the latter).

And one final word on ONE OF :kink: the best networks in the world, the crossover adverts are amazing.

You might want to try some of their other shows.

I think you'd actually like In Plain Sight, it takes the dark comedy element of Bones and adds a little more Sarcasm.

Burn Notice is somewhere on the too watch list bellow Once Upon A Time (next) and Royal Pains but above Buffy/Angel.

White Collar is a great show Silas...keep watching you'll really enjoy it
Ok just watched 'Something borrowed, something blew up'. My thoughts: started slow, then things picked up when someone shot at the windows at the court. But I think I like it :) specially when Mary shot at that man from behind. Thanks for the recommendation!

Burn Notice has such a Dexter feeling to it. Miami and everything!

Addicted to it. On season 2 now. It's like Leverage, only more plausible. Love the way they keep developing the main line of the story (who-burned-Mike investigation) in EVERY episode, while throwing in another job. Other shows tend to leave the main line for a couple of episodes and concentrate on something else.

Fiona is pretty much QoL. I WANT AN EPISODE ABOUT HER.

Why don't they just STAB A KNIFE INTO MY HEART instead?!

Psych managed only a 1.1 for the season 6 fall finale, whereas In Plain Sight scored 0.9. Not too far right? Yet Psych has been renewed for the 7th season. Don't get me wrong, I love Psych, but it's NOT FAIR. :(

And you know what's even worse, there's only 8 episodes! I'm completely devistated, it's such a good show.

When it got a renewal for season 4 and 5 they said 5 would be the last.

8 is better than nothing anyway. Are they going to properly end this show, rather than cancelling it, so it won't have a huge cliffhanger at the end?

The good news though is that Fairly Legal is starting on the same day as well.

I hope so, it was announced that it would be the final season quite some time ago so they've had more than enough time.

I'm so happy to see Fairly Legal back! I need more Sarah Shahi in my life  It's gonna be interesting to see what it's like now that USA have reworked the show.

Now that I finished 'Burn Notice', watching 'In Plain Sight' was resumed.

OMG. MARY IS A BAD-ASS.

"The world is full of assholes. Why would I want to connect with that". SO DAMN TRUE.

The season 1 ending was incredible. One of the best season finales I've ever seen. And I haven't even finished the last episode yet.

I'm rewatching In Plain Sight ahead of the start of season 5 in just over a week :w00t:

Such an outstanding show. Mary is my Idol, she's such a fucking legend. It just gets better every season.

Bumping this because I've now gotten into Burn Notice and White Collar. Both are flawfree.

Pavel, you could not be more right about Fi, what a QoL!

  • 1 month later...

Okay, Burn Notice officially OVER. :(

and OF COURSE they would SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER :o
