I have avoided the leaks and even not watched Jimmy Fallon until I got my hands on the album. It arrived this morning (got to love Play.com) and it is fantastic - best thing he's done for 10 years

This isn't on the album though :P

I'm looking forward to buying this album, ive been a massive Springsteen fan for a number of years. A genuine working class hero. This album should go number one on Sunday hopefully.

It's a rather strong album I must say. Probably his most accessable one in quite some time. 'Rocky Ground' and 'We Take Care' are my highlights of the set so far.

05 Thunder Road

06 Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out

07 Born To Run

08 Jungleland

09 Darkness On The Edge Of Town

10 Badlands

11 Prove It All Night

12 Hungry Heart

13 Out In The Street

14 The River

15 Atlantic City

01 Born In The U.S.A.

02 Glory Days

03 Dancing In The Dark

04 Tunnel of Love

05 Brilliant Disguise

06 Human Touch

07 Streets of Philadelphia

08 The Ghost of Tom Joad

09 American Skin (41 Shots)

14 We Take Care Of Our Own

Every time I hear We Take Care Of Our Own (which is a LOT, at work), I can't help but think it's a Lightning Seeds song, until his vocals come in!

Really? I think that introduction is unmistakably Springsteen-esque.

On a tangical note, I'm in the middle of compiling my list of the top 10 Springsteen-esque songs of 2012, which are the songs that most lovingly rip-off/homage Bruce Springsteen this year. So far, I've got entries from The Killers, Japandroids, Strange Boats, Lord Huron and, umm, Keane.

No Gaslight Anthem?

Yes, Handwritten by Gaslight Anthem does fit the bill. Here are some of the contenders:

Keane - On the Road.

The chorus is pure Springsteen, while the synth bit at 2:08 would have made a great guitar solo. If I had the talent, I would re-record this track to make it ultimately Springsteen-y

Strange Boats - Boys Walk Faster than Girls.

This song has been played heavily on Irish radio, yet the guys didn't realise the intro sounded like a famous Springsteen song until I pointed it out to them.

Japandroids - The House that Heaven Built

Vocally, this is very Springsteen-esque.

And Runaways by The Killers goes without saying.
