Twilight is truly going to be a non number one isin't it, it's still decreasing quite fast and I can see it dropping out of the top 10 on iTunes next week. Hopefully.

Lana Del Rey is only 1.3% behind the top 10 with her album version now.

Being my favourite #1 of the year so far, I hope Twilight can spend longer in the chart. :P As long as it sells 200,000 in total I'll be happy I guess.

80. Luniz ft. Michael Marshall - I Got 5 On It - Okay, what is THIS doing in the top 100.

103. Redd ft. Akon & Snoop Dogg - I'm Day Dreaming - I don't think I actually know this song... Nonetheless, it's always nice to see Akon in the chart. :)

Black Eyed Peas's first album was actually fantastic, I prefered Black Eyed Peas before they became the most generic pop act.

Assuming you're talking about Elephunk, that's their third album :P Unless you're secretly a fan of pre-Fergie BEP.

Both of them are on compilations which were released this week (Anthems Hip-Hop 2 - Ministry Of Sound and Love 2 Club 2012 respectively). Don't know why they're so popular but that's probably part of the reason.

Ahhhh. Well, I hope compilation albums like those get released every week if this is what happens. :kink: I guess the Redd song might be getting cherry-picked a lot because people are seeing an Akon/Snoop Dogg collab and are remembering what a masterpiece I Wanna Love you was, and so assuming I'm Day Dreaming must be good to.

Don't have a clue about Luniz tbh. There must be a reason though, as #80 on iTunes is rather high. A song won't sell that much for no reason.

01. David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

02. Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know

What an excellent top 2 on iTunes at the moment. :D

If Alyssa Reid gets to no. 1, I think 'Alone Again' will fall out of the top 40 much quicker - even with its multiple versions on iTunes.

Perfect, I applaud the British public for suddenly acquiring some amazing taste!

As a side note, we have France, New Zealand, Canada and Australia (twice) represented in the iTunes top three and likely official top three on Sunday, how unexpectedly international of us :o

remembering what a masterpiece I Wanna Love you was

I like a lot of the songs you do and even I really hope you're being sarcastic.

Born to die up to 10 :)

Fantastic!!! :D

If there's ever been a time when the phrase "top 10 boost please" has been more appropriate, this is that time.

Lana #10? :o Congratulations on your first ever appearance in the iTunes top 10 Lana. Delighted.

Also, that Flo Rida garbage is FINALLY out of the top 10. Double hurrah!

With the mass hype around her, the last thing I'd have expected Born To Die to be was a slow burner but it's #10 and twice more in the top 70 so pretty much guaranteed top ten officially on Sunday! Strange that so many people wait until the album is out to cherry pick an identical version of a song released a week earlier.

Turn Me on  #30 :D eally liking this right now :o No wonder its doing so well in US very catchy.

Well done Lana, top 10! Selling amazingly in the album chart as I thought she would, I hope Emeli does the same in a couple of weeks.

I think its just the hype/word of mouth which is helping it as a single, all the talk about Lana this week especially is probably getting more and more people to look into who she is, and in esult download more of her music. Should climb well now in the top 10 to secure top 10 placing come Sunday!

I'm really hoping Titanium gets that #1!

Too right. :D 'Born To Die' peaking at #14 in the UK would be an injustice. People can hate on Lana all they want, but this track is sublime and deserves a much higher chart peak.

I wonder if Lana will do a "Rizzle Kicks" and have her first two solo singles peaking at the same position in the low top 10...

Great news about Flo Rida! I hate that song!! But I'm sure it will reclimb into the top 10 at some point during a quiet period.

Also loving the Guetta/Gotye top 2. The lack of British and American artists in the top 3 is refreshing. I hope there will be a Guetta/Gotye top 2 officially in the next few weeks.
