This has been a great opportunity for me to re-listen to my ESC 2003 album, I have it in front of me right now in fact :D Aahh, it's feels so good listening to Sanomi and Vise Nisam Tvoja again. There are so many songs I liked this year! The only songs I didn't like was Estonia and that terrible Austria! :(

Edit: Actually, scrap that. I thought Austria was different and interesting. I just don't like listening to it.

Poor Spain, and later Holland too, was on the verge of qualification most of the voting time :drama:

Germany started off very well but received about 10 points from the last 10 voters. Ha.

Nicola made it! :D Never cared much for any of Sertab, Sanomi or the tATu song which I frankly found crap compared to All The Things She Said and Not Gonna Get Us (which it was the b-side to in the UK btw!). I'm certain that Birgitta tipped over the 100 points mark, one of Iceland's finest ever entries, 8th was a real injustice. Give Me Your Love was a slightly lesser schlager gem but it was one nonetheless. Alcazar's Not A Sinner, Nor A Saint or Pernilla Wahlgren's Let Your Spirit Fly would have been better Melodifestivalen winners that year though...

Well, Tatu made it through which is good, it's not as good as All The Things She Said, but it was still the best thing there. Disappointed to see Netherlands out, but I don't think I'm complaining with the rest of the qualifiers.

I gave a lot of points to The Netherlands too, it was a #2 in my chart :o I'm actually surprised it did as well as it did, I always get the impression that it's been a bit forgotten by Eurovision fans :(

The Netherlands stood out in the recap. Because I never watched the contests back here and I don't have enough time to watch the whole show, as much as I would like to, I'm going by the recaps and keeping the songs that sound good. That Netherlands song sounded amazing in the recap! So I'm sure gonna keep it around.

Shame Spain didn't make it, 'Dime' is one of their best entries.

The only song I don't like, to make it through so far, is Russia's. :puke2:

FUCK ME, I just close the window where I formatted half of 2004 and lost all the data.
