Yeah MDNA spent 9 weeks in the top 10, has gone platinum

GMAYL has gone platinum

GGW has gone gold there too

Both of the songs are currently in the top 20 best selling singles of 2012 so far.

MDNA is currently #31 in the UK mid weeks!

The standard version of MDNA is #13 on the HMV Chart, and it's £8! Maybe Top 40 again on the midweeks?

The album ends a five week exile from the Top 75, jumping 110-59, with sales up 79.30% week-on-week at 2,190. MDNA has sold 118,778 copies since its release 17 weeks ago, 43.63% of same stage sales of 272,232 for her last studio album, 2008's Hard Candy.

MDNA drops to #193 in the UK :( Not sure where Celebration is yet, I'll post in the Top 200 Chart Run thread when I find out.

Madonna's MDNA is currently priced at £3 at HMV, £2.75 at Amazon and just £2.28 at Play - but it sold only 299 copies last week and remains outside the Top 200 for the 24th week in a row.

That's because it was never promoted lol.. Unless your a fan you wouldn't know.

It seems awfully pointless reducing an album without actually letting people know about it, you may as well keep it at full price! :P It's just a bonus if you happen to come across it.

In my local HMV they only had copies if the deluxe for £15, there was no standard versions for £3. HMV.com isn't running so I doubt many was brought from them.

 

Overall it's Madonna, Live Nation and interscope's teams to blame.. Nobody knows it out.. Radio and tv won't play the songs.. There's so many things you could say.

 

Live Nation won't give a crap how many copies her albums she sells, they got there money from her touring with the best selling tour of the year and the 10th biggest selling tour ever with MDNA.
