Thanks David, I was so torn, I really wanted a joint #1 as they're practically tying in my affections now but I thought fairer to give Titanium another week, making it three apiece, we'll see what happens next in this clash of the titans :o

 

3. There was never any doubt, I've been in love with it for weeks and it keeps on growing too. Would be an easy #1 if not for the two juggernauts out in front! It would be great to receive points from Syndare on your first contest but I won't hold you to it, just in case you find ten songs that you prefer :P

9. Yeah, it dropped back massively last week almost by default because of the MGP/DMGP invasion but it hasn't left my affections and I thought it deserved top ten. I'm very glad that Ghosty sent it and I can practically guarantee him points, seeing as it was a discovery via him!

17. It's really decent, I'm no loon for Alexandra but she's had a couple of big hits in my chart. Bad Boys went to #5 and Up All Night #4, not sure if this will be her third top five hit in the middle of Eurovision season but I'm really liking it.

19. I agree, the album's a pleasant listen too but alas only has two or three standouts. A more country sounding The Pierces to my ears.

28. Check out her last album Cocool, it's really strong, made my top 20 of 2010!

Apparently Linjen I Min Hand means 'Line In My Hand', bizarre thing to sing about :mellow: Overflow would have been an excellent entry, but songs like that never win national finals :( Wild Ones is really good but it's no Titanium - can you imagine a slowed down Part II, Sia wailing about shutting down tha club in ballad form :lol: The Destination probably isn't as good as The Storm but I do really like it. It's not something that happens too often, I think Release Me by Agnes was the last song to do this, it was my Xmas #1 in 2008 and made its way back up in May 2009, I can't remember if it exited the chart altogether though or just changed direction! Most of my returning #1's go back up just from #2/3 or something having not dropped that far away from the top in the first place!

 

It really is excellent to see both songs become bonafide huge hits here :wub: I'm not used to the UK having such taste!

 

National Anthem really is, it surely has to be a single?

48. Mimicry - The Destination (NEW) (CR-48) My second favourite in the Estonian selection! It's not as good as The Storm, but again I certainly wouldn't mind it if Estonia decided to send them this year!

3. I LOVE this song so much, I've become very endeared to the vocals now but I think it could live without them. I couldn't see past sending it though anyway, it was either that or Elisa's and what's the point in sending such in your face schlager to BJSC, nobody would appreciate it :lol: I'm hoping for top ten after my flop last month but we'll see...

7. I'd love it too, it seems quite feasible that it may have come 4th, it's the 4th highest on iTunes out of the semi-finalists, behind the three that qualified for the final! Of course, it's a long shot that it would be the best performing 4th placed song but I have everything crossed!

03 - That's true, it would have been quite a risk to send it!

04 - I think I will as it was featured on a blog (I just made that chart rule up now :kink: ). I'll probably be a bit more lenient this year, but I'm not going back to charting multiple album tracks by the same artist again.

07 - I agree! I have read that they're getting a jury to decide the wildcard this year, so hopefully that's true!

09 - Well I'm not sure about that, there have been some far more fantastic songs in the past that have failed to qualify!

36 - Agreed there! I rather liked Baby Get Higher too!

46 - It crashed out :( . Sadly, they've decided to let a jury pick three finalists and the public only gets to pick one, so I think a lot of the fan favourites may not reach the final.

I love the top 2 - I agree that Titanium and Somebody That I Used To Know are basically neck and neck in terms of brilliance.
