February 24, 201213 yr This Has to happen. Blackout is a great album. Much better than Circus and Femme fatale
February 27, 201213 yr I do love Blackout but I'd much prefer an album like In the Zone next. A million times yes. I don't want retreads of any prior albums but if she has to use one as a blueprint then it should be ITZ. I NEED that Britney back. But I guess she tried to do an ITZ-esque song with Blur and that was just an inferior Early Mornin' so I don't know. I'm sure I'll love the album no matter what sound she goes for anyway!
February 28, 201213 yr I don't really want another "Blackout". You see how many reattempts of "Toxic" have been done, I don't want that again. She should try something new... William Orbit for an entire album, perhaps?
February 28, 201213 yr I can't think of a single attempt to remake Toxic. Radar, maybe. But that's pretty much it. I don't think anyone wanted to re-enact Toxic, especially not with the songs included on Blackout. They have their own identity.
February 28, 201213 yr Radar, maybe. But that's pretty much it. I don't think anyone wanted to re-enact Toxic, especially not with the songs included on Blackout. They have their own identity. "Radar" is practically the same song as "Toxic" (except it being tremendously better).. then there's "Womanizer".
February 29, 201213 yr I see no resemblance in 'Toxic' and 'Womanizer'... at ALL. Music video wise? Yes. Musically? No. Edited February 29, 201213 yr by Tyler
February 29, 201213 yr I see no resemblance in 'Toxic' and 'Womanizer'... at ALL. Music video wise? Yes. Musically? No. "It's like a Toxic II, but better" - Britney. She was talking about the video, though :P
February 29, 201213 yr I sincerely hope she does not believe that the Womanizer video is better than Toxic's video. I was never a fan of the Womanizer video.
February 29, 201213 yr Toxic is an ICONIC video, whereas Womanizer is just a very good video. IMO of course.
February 29, 201213 yr I never liked much of the Womanizer video. The sauna scene was cool, she looked great, but the rest was a bit of a mess I think. Good concept but poor execution. The first time a Circus video impressed me was If U Seek Amy and even that wasn't exactly spectacular. That era just didn't really happen for videos and Femme Fatale has been a vast improvement in that department! Toxic of course is her best video (and my favourite video ever).
March 2, 201213 yr I'd really like something that nobody expects. Like perhaps, Lily Allen... since they have both expressed love for each others work. Or if pop, something just fun with no expectations, like Kesha. Also Danja / Bloodshy & Avant are musts. I'd like her to work with Stuart Price too, that would be f***ing awesome.Completely this! Stuart Price especially! I don't think she's worked with him before and I'd be interested in seeing what they could come up with for Brit. But the Danja and Bloodshy & Avant works are pretty much necessary for any Britney album. I NEED another 'How I Roll' on this new album at LEAST though. It needs to be just as good and needs to be a single at some point! I seriously think they missed something special with not releasing that over 'Criminal'... (Also another 'Trip' obviously :P)
March 4, 201213 yr Author SONY MUSIC MÉXICO CONFIRMS NEW ALBUM FOR BRITNEY IN 2013/early 2014 THE OFFICIAL PRESS: Hereby communicates that RCA Records, a label official Britney Spears, confirms that this year will be released anything official about new products or audio material from the artist's personal affairs, nor a new version of one of their fragrances. This is completely false. However, it is confirmed that the talks begin in November for new recorded material. Spears is scheduled to return late this year or early 2013 at the recording studio to realize their new studio album. The release date for the new album is scheduled for next summer. This can be changed as the time required to record and produce the album, meaning it can be in 2014. Thanks for all the support from fans of Britney Spears. "Peter Edge - Director of RCA Records Translate for Google!Source: www.septimobritney.co.cc - No album or fragrance releases for 2012; - She will start the record of the new album at the end of the year or beginning of 2013; - New album is set to 2013 Summer - Although, if there's no time to record everything, the album can be released only in 2014. I can't wait that much :snif:
March 4, 201213 yr TBH I'm not expecting anything this year...and she needs to get more innovative next time...I'm not saying FF wasn't but still she needs to take that one step fwd from the rest...she used to do that before and I don't see why she can't now. I was just listening to Circus song and damn how original was that.
March 4, 201213 yr I loved Circus the song. Everything in that era was released right apart from Radar which should've been released an era early...
March 4, 201213 yr Agree, I prefer Circus album (including the amazing bonus tracks that were criminally left out) over FF, which was just ok for me. Though TTWE was brilliant. Circus, Kill The Lights, Shattered Glass, Unusual You, Out From Under, Phonography, Amnesia, Quicksand
March 4, 201213 yr I'll take anything that isn't Femme Fatale 2.0 right now. It's great but too similar to everything else around right now. But RCA are horrendous. You can just tell they'll let Brit record some motherhood album and then pull a Bionic and force her to record """commercial""" tracks. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
