Of the previous tracks entitled "Wild One(s)", this is the first to hit the top here; the previous titles are listed here…

Last week Belgium DJ Laurent Wery cracked our Top 10 (we're the first place in the world, as he peaked at No.16 in his home country) with his single "Hey Hey Hey (Pop another Bottle)", and now this week it leaps eight places to No.2, maybe on its way to a potential No.1 spot. David Guetta and Nicki Minaj hold at No.3 for a second week with "Turn Me On", and scoring their highest charting single in Australia by moving up two places to No.4 are Simple Plan with their aptly-themed song "Summer Paradise".

Another "Paradise" is right behind at No.5, down one place for Coldplay, whilst last weeks No.2, "Set it off" for Timomatic drops four places to No.6 this week. Snoop Dogg and his entourage fall two places to No.7 on the track "Young. Wild and Free". 2007 Australian Idol runner-up Matt Corby makes a massive leap from No.42 to No.8 this week with his EP "Into the Flame". The song “Brother” from the set came in at No.3 on the recently broadcast (Thursday 26th of January) Triple J Hottest 100 for 2011, and there are more flow-on effects from that countdown in the Top 100 this week. Rounding out the Top 10 at No.9 is Guy Sebastian's "Don't Worry Be Happy", and falling three places to No.10 is former No.1 "Pumped up Kicks" for Foster the People.

TRIPLE J HOTTEST 100 for 2011: Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" came in at No.1 on the countdown for 2011, and that song climbs a place to No.21 this week, whilst No.2 went to The Black Keys and their song "Lonely Boy", which leaps ten places to No.15 this week. "Feeding Line" for Boy & Bear was at No.4 and that re-enters at No.73, whilst No.5's "Midnight City" for M83 debuts at No.78 this week, their first entry to the charts here.

No.6 was taken by Lana Del Ray's "Video Games" (#55), No.7 was "Awkward" for San Cisco (#87 to new peak of #71), 360 and Gossling were at No.8 with "Boys Like You", which leaps ten places to a new peak of No.19, The Jezabels occupied to the No.9 position within the countdown for the track "Endless Summer", which re-enters at No.88 and No.10 fell to The Hilltop Hoods and Sia on their new collaboration "I Love it", which is up eight places to No.11 this week.

NEW PEAKS & MOVERS: Other songs to score a new peak this week include "Take Care" for Drake and Rihanna, up six places to No.12, and another RnB teaming climbs three places to No.24, Pitbull and Chris Brown with "International Love". Skrillex hits No.30 with "Bangarang", up four places from last week, and leaping back in to the Top 50 and scoring a new peak of No.37 is Qwote and Pitbull with "Throw Your Hands Up". James Morrison also jumps into the Top 50 at No.39 with his new single "I Won't Let You Go", up twenty-four places from last week, and Jessie J climbs eight places to No.49 with her sixth single "Laserlight".

Members of dance group Pendulum Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen have formed a side-project as the duo Knife Party, and their debut electro EP is entitled "100% No Modern Talking", which debuts at No.41 this week.

Chiddy Bang are up ten places to No.54 with "Ray Charles", and leaping thirty-four places to No.57 is the new single for Rihanna entitled "Talk That Talk", which features Jay-Z as guest vocalist. These Kids Wear Crowns jump back up twenty-three places to No.59 with their first entry here "Jumpstart", and as mentioned above, San Cisco jump up sixteen places to No.71 with their "Awkward" EP.

Since October 2011, Etta James has been a sampled vocalist on Flo Rida's former No.4 hit "Good Feeling", and also on Avicii's No.26 single "Levels". She passed away at the age of 73 last week, and one of her most recognised songs "At Last" makes its first EVER appearance on an Australian chart, debuting at No.72 this week.

Indietronic and electropop French band M83 score their first ARIA Singles Chart entry this week by debuting at No.78 with the track "Midnight City". Florence + the Machine score a third Top 100 entry from their current album "Ceremonials" (TW-14), by debuting at No.95 with "No Light, No Light", and the last new entry of the week is Nickelback who come in at No.100 with "Lullaby" from their "Here and Now" album (TW-18).

Albums

With the lack of new release albums, Adele is enjoying her run at the top of the ARIA Albums Charts for a 27th non-consecutive week with the album "21". But rising to No.2 is current tourists Foster the People and their album "Torches", which could be a No.1 contender next week.

US heavy metal act Lamb of God debut at No.3 with their sixth album "Resolution", which becomes their highest charting album and second Top 10 entry, as their fifth album "Wrath" debuted and peaked at No.8 in late February of 2009, and this is their third album to chart here in Australia, they also made it to No.25 in August of 2006 with “Sacrament”.

After three weeks at No.2 (four in total), LMFAO's "Sorry for Party Rocking" is down two places to No.4. The Black Keys score a new peak of No.5 with their album "El Camino", thanks to the albums first single "Lonely Boy" jumping up to No.15 this week.

NEW PEAKS & MOVERS: Michael Crwaford climbs two places to a new peak of No.25 with his "The Story of My Life" collection, but up eighteen places to No.27 are Kasabian and their recent album "Velociraptor!" Celtic Thunder debuted at No.90 last week, but they leap sixty-two places this week to No.30 with their "Heritage" album. Skrillex climbs back up six places to No.34 with his other charting album "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" (HP-28), and local act Busby Marou zoom up thirty-seven places to No.40 with their self-titled album.

Previously they have charted here with their second album “Common Dreads” which reached No.55 in June of 2009.

Local country singer Amber Lawrence debuts at No.41 with her third album aptly titled "3", which becomes her first Top 50 and Top 100 entry. Previous albums "The Mile" (2007) and "When it All Comes Down" (2009) did not chart, she has only had one Top 100 entry, and that was with the single “I’ve Got the Blues” (HP-84, January 2006).
