Robbie has just announced a very special charity auction to take place in London on 15th July. All proceeds from the aptly-named Doing It For The Kids will go to the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, of which Robbie is a patron.

 

Robbie has provided a unique selection of over 150 personal items, which will go under the hammer at Bonhams Knightsbridge and includes:

 

Handwritten lyrics for Let Me Entertain You

The cream two-piece suit worn by Robbie in the video for Radio

A Take That MTV video music award

A multi-platinum award for the album I’ve Been Expecting You

Speaking of the announcement, Robbie said:

 

It’s a privilege for me to be a patron of The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice, it makes a real difference to these children whose lives have been tragically limited. The sale gives a great opportunity for bidders to know their money will go to such a fantastic charity, whilst also taking home some of my most prized possessions that have been personal markers of my career and life so far.

Robbie Williams is flogging some of his "prized possession" to raise much needed money for a children's hospice.

 

The ex-Take That singer is putting 150 personal artefacts, including awards, stage costumes and handwritten lyrics dating back to the early 1990s, up for auction at Bonhams.

Items include a set of handwritten lyrics for Let Me Entertain You, estimated to fetch £6,000, and the cream two-piece suit worn by Williams in the music video for Radio (Yours for a cool £7,000).
