Go Behind The Scenes On Robbie's Take The Crown Stadium Tour 2013

25 Jun 2013

As the UK leg of Robbie's Take The Crown Stadium Tour 2013 approaches its halfway point, we're taking a look at the spectacular creative behind the shows and the role they play in Robbie's performances.

Our latest video looks back over the last four dates of the tour, which saw Robbie perform to packed crowds at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. Check it out below and catch up on all the videos from the tour so far over on Robbie's YouTube channel.

According to the Official Site, the concert being filmed for the tour dvd is Tallinn, Estonia. Different. But kind of interesting. Just hope they know all the songs. And know how to bounce :w00t:

ROBBIE'S TAKE THE CROWN STADIUM TOUR 2013 TO BE FILMED IN TALLINN

26 Jun 2013

As Robbie prepares for the 7th of his 26 date tour tonight we are thrilled to announce that his penultimate stop on the Take The Crown Stadium Tour 2013 will be filmed live in Tallinn!

Robbie hits the Estonian capital on 20th August and will be the first international performer to film a concert in Tallinn, making it a special occasion for the lucky ticket-buyers, who will also be celebrating Estonia's Re-independence Day, as well as for Robbie:

"I have never been to Estonia," he said of the news, "and I am excited to film my brilliant show on re-Independence Day."

Dunno. No offence but I'm kind of glad it's somewhere other than England. Just for a change :P

Wonder if it's sold out?

 yeah know what you mean.

I never manage to be at a concert when they are filming, (apart from Live Earth & Heroes one) doesn't matter who I'm seeing, I always seem

to be there the night before or just after....

I should hope it is sold out in Estonia or it will look pretty crap on dvd.

Is the Tallinn concert not the one in a big field rather than in a stadium?

As Robbie prepares for his final show in the UK tonight, we're taking you back to last weekend, when he and the band were readying themselves for the first of four nights in London.

Robbie's latest video offers an insight into the enormous scale of his Take The Crown Stadium Tour 2013 and how the team are taking a "small town" around with them everywhere they go.

Speaking of Wembley........... has anyone been on the official site forum for a nosey around?

There's a hell a lot of people on there that were unhappy with their seat allocation from Ticketmaster, restricted views etc.

Some poor people just saw the back of the stage, nothing else, they weren't even told at the time the views were restricted.

Expensive tickets too for some of those blocks, doesn't make sense to sell those without informing fans, very unfair.

Some of my view could of been a bit better, and the sound quality, though no fault of Robbies, during some of the songs wavered because

of where we had picked to stand.

I couldn't see much of what was going on with the right hand side of the stage which is where Robbie

seemed to spend a lot of the time. :( That was down to me for not getting into the stadium early enough. I would of been

really upset if I had paid full price tickets and got crap seats without the option of moving.

Some of the fans that complained were offered free tickets for tonight's gig, great if you don't live to far and have no other commitments.

From where I was sitting Spark I noticed that a large section at the left hand side towards the back of the stadium had a very bad view of the stage, it all looked a bit odd if I am totally honest even the props that were rolled out were surplus to requirements in my opinion & just got in the way, Robbie does not need all that stuff on stage, I found it distracting & could not wait for them to roll off.

I would have cried my eyes out if I had flown all the way to London to see Robbie only to have my view blocked by camera equipment, tents etc. It's not Robbies fault , he does his bit but his management should complain to the promoters or whoever sets all that stuff up. I had a good view as i was just to the right of the stage if you were facing it

There never really used to be so many props on stage during a Robbie concert did there?

It's down to the last TT tour me thinks.

The only prop that made any sense for me was the guitar :cheer: , I loved that bit :cheer:

I wonder why the Wembley people weren't treated the same way as the Hampden people? Ticketmaster were great with us. I was informed by phone message and e-mail the day before that our seats had been upgraded due to view restrictions. When I went to the box office my new tickets were ready and waiting for me in a wee envelope with my name on it.

Unless of course there were no spare seats at Wembley to move people into?
