Here here!

She's just a non event in general. Why cover a song that is clearly too big for you? I might have A BIT of time for her if she hadn't covered that song.

Now Kelly Clarkson is someone who could smash the shit out of that song Allison Iraheta style. ^_^

Yes! Kelly Clarkson would smash that song completely! She has the vocals for such a big, powerful song!

I think Kelly Clarkson would smash pretty much anything tbh (of course, apart from really weird songs like Bonkers and stuff).

It's amazing that she's #1 in the US now!!! So good for her.

Kelly covering Bonkers would be AMAZING.
If Kelly Clarkson ever did Radio 1 Live Lounge, I hope for the cover she performs something like 'Somebody That I Used to Know'. I think that would suit her.
what position is Lil Wayne - A milli on itunes now?

I'm not seeing it top 200.

Paper Planes is at #133! Love seeing that there.

what position is Lil Wayne - A milli on itunes now?

Do you honestly think that'll be in the top 1000 right now?

The only Lil Wayne songs on there atm are:

19. Lloyd ft. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne - Dedication to My Ex

30. Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars - Mirror

55. Lloyd ft. Andre 3000 & Lil Wayne - Dedication to My Ex

73. Drake ft. Lil Wayne - The Motto :cheer:

92. Lil Wayne ft. Static Major - Lollipop :o

219. Tyga ft. Lil Wayne - Faded - Looks like Tyga has already got a small fanbase here!

329. B.o.B ft. Lil Wayne - Strange Clouds

464. Drake ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem - Forever

530. Lil Wayne - How To Love

650. DJ Khaled ft. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne - I'm On One

660. Eminem ft. Lil Wayne - No Love

783. Lil Wayne ft. Eminem - Drop the World

789. Kelly Rowland ft. Lil Wayne - Motivation

938. Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes - Look at Me Now

It's so annoying that some top 3 hits from last year, for example Mr. Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan are currently selling less than some Lil Wayne songs from 2009 which missed the top 40.

how do you get to see the top 200 or 300?

In the first post of the thread, there's some links to RSS feeds which show the top 300 and the top 1000 on iTunes. :)

So that gotye song has been bought 14,288 times on itunes?

that is £14,145.12 wasted

It's not a waste at all!!! I love that song. It's going to be such a hit, I think it'll be in the year-end top 10 of 2012 easily. And it'll probably get to #1 in US too.

I literally have no idea how on earth Kelly Rowland has had a flop this era, I mean she had the greatest promotion you can ever imagine. Judging panel on Uk's Biggest show, a performance on the semi final of xFactor. The Album flopped big time, I guess Down For Whatever is to blame for that, but how on earth is Lay It On Me Flopping, I actually really, really like the song.

Lay It On Me is a really, really, really good song.

I don't know why it's flopping. It got off to a very good start aswell, as it debuted straight into the top 100 on album release week. Maybe people just don't like it. Or maybe it's not doing well on radio airplay? It also had its music video released in like Autumn last year I think, so maybe lots of people were bored of the song by the time they started promoting it (although I'm certainly not bored of it!!). I wish she released it instead of Down For Whatever. I think it could've got #1, as it's very UK-friendly.

Her album is a mess though. I remember her doing an interview in like 2009 on one of my local radio stations to promote her album, which eventually got released 2 years later. :drama: And they played the "single", Rose-Coloured Glasses.

Did you see her performance?!

Did you see her performance?!

It wasn't amazing but it wasn't the worst guest performance i've seen on the xFactor. She promoted 3 singles in one performance.

Pretty much regardless of whatever it is you're saying, using a  will automatically make people assume it's something idiotic.

Mr Saxobeat has sold nearly 500,000? I am sure Lil Wayne hasn't sold even 20k with a lot of his songs!

I think that was the problem. 'DFW' was the current single so stick to that, why perform a medley? I can see why she did it, but it just didn't work. Kelly isn't the best for singing live and dancing at the same time and it showed, performing the medley made her look worse. Considering how long she's been doing this it was all just a bit half-arsed!
