I don't get that with International Love either. Perhaps some people just buy whatever the most popular version is of a song and don't look at things like the price (assuming everything is 99p).

And I've never heard of a Saturdays song called Megamix. Or is it actually a megamix of their songs? :lol: I listened to the Redd song. I don't like it. It sounds like an extremely cheap version of Only Girl. It's so badly produced aswell, you can barely hear the vocals on the track. Plus, T.I. is supposed to have a verse, but they cut it out for some reason. :drama: I'd love to see Akon and Snoop Dogg back in the chart, but this song is so awful, that I really would prefer it to just free-fall now tbh.

Apologize looks so out of place on the album. The only thing it has in common with RnB is the drum pattern tbh, and although it's slow, it's not really much of a "jam". Great to see Un-Thinkable back in the top 1000. It was the biggest RnB song of 2010, but it didn't get popular here. I think it could've been a top 20 hit in the UK if they gave it more of a push, since Alicia was massive here back in 2010. Her Beyonce collab could've been big aswell.

Yeah, I was thinking that. I don't know. Maybe it'd chart as a new track? It would be funny if it went top 40 aswell, as it would take up a lot of the show (or they could make a radio edit, but that would sound like A MESS and a half :lol:). I'd imagine My Heart Takes Over sounds a bit out of place in that megamix. :lol:

Because it's a worldwide release but from country to country the sales data are compiled from different days. Either she releases her new song in different days from country to country, or she just give it a go everywhere the same day. So simple.

I don't think it really matters for her or for her label if the song is not charting that high after 2 days of sales.

 

On another note I'm still not sure if the song will be eligible to chart at all if it will be given away for free if you pre-order her album. Any news on that? We shall see this afternoon I guess.

So what time is Madge releasing today? If its late it wont affect its sales that much, she'll only have 24 hrs really - most of her sales will be next week then.

 

great to see Gotye in the top 2, who says songs need to be held back - this is the perfect example of a slow rise of a song as it gains in popularity and the charts are better for it, reminds me of Aloe Blacc!!
