Because this man's done worse than that... Police have been called over a suspected stalker on Kylie Minogue’s Twitter account. The singer is celebrating 25 years in the music industry and has been in regular contact with her fans (or lovers as she calls them) recently, asking them to share memories and pictures from over the years. However, she posted a worrying message yesterday: “love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted.” Fans tweeted their messages of support for Kylie, 43, with one posting: “whoever the wierdo is I hope he (I assume its a he) gets what he deserves. Leave Kylie alone. #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial.” Kylie’s massive public profile has attracted the attentions of the slightly strange before. In 2003 she got was the unlucky recipient of over 700 vile letters to her home in Chelsea and her EMI record company offices in London. The identity of the sender was never uncovered but it’s thought they threatened to perform graphic sex acts acts on her and even kill her. Kylie has also talked about another over keen fan who, at one point, turned up to all of her shows over a five year period and even found out where she was shopping at times. Having beaten breast cancer, Kylie appears to be enjoying life lately with boyfriend, Spanish model Andres Velencoso, 33.
