You should definitely check out some of the Eurovision songs out there at the moment, there are some amazing and listening worthy songs this year. February 14, 201213 yr Author @2 - Well it was a discovery for me, and a pretty good one at that, I expected it to be a bit higher on this chart, but it looks an even busier week than normal here. :lol: Agreed that the contrast of the vocals makes for an amazing song. @3 - She must get around a bit then! Strangely, I can see some connection between this and Ein, if I really really think about it @11 - Well, it sounds a little dated, it's a fairly safe entry, but sounds like a solid mid-table for Denmark this time. Very MoR, although pleasant. Nothing to dislike, it's just there isn't a whole lot about it. My picks this week: 1. Ditte Marie – Overflow - NEW - This has taken it's time to hit me, but it's really quite good. Seems fairly typical ESC fodder though, I can see why it didn't get chosen. 2. Lise Karlsnes – Sailors - NEW - I thought it was perfect she got chosen as the wildcard, you must be pleased too, I guess. :D It's the best thing I've heard from her, so despite her probably having no chance of winning, it was too good to crash out in the semis. 4. In that case - 'Overflow' would've been a much better entry :( I think it's one of the most instant songs I've ever listened to (approximately) and it's SO HUGE! Especially that chorus; everything about it screams winner to me :wub: @2 - I was very pleased with that, but at the same time - when she didn't became one of the final four entries, I felt extra gutted for her as she must feel very dissapointed about that :nocheer: Failing to qualify in the semi final, then getting to the final because of a jury and failing again in the final. And you almost like everything in my chart too, which is amazing! :D @5 - Yes, at least for me, a recommendation to watch Crash My Party or some video diary of theirs seems to have been promoted a huge amount, but I hadn't heard of Broken Hearted before, and it's much better! @7 - I think it just ended up being easy to cut with getting tired on me, I thought it was definitely going to get points a short time after the semis came up. It is really catchy though. @11 - Same for you, actually, I can't think which one you might have sent either. I'm not going to say anything, you'll find out soon :D. It's quite fun doing things this way, although I only liked about half of the tracks in this set, so I hope whatever wins comes from that half.
