I've decided I prefer 'Numb' over 'Euphoria' as my favourite from the album. It's nice to see a dance song have a bit more depth to it, I love the lyrics.

His Live Lounge performance was really good. He's obviously more of a visual artist, but he really delivered on the vocals too. It was an interesting choice of cover, but I really liked the arrangement that they used - he played the guitar on it too :o

Here's his setlist:

"Scream"

"U Remind Me"

"Yeah!"

"OMG"

"Pumped Up Kicks" (Foster the People cover)

"Climax"

You can watch it all here :D

I've listened to the first six or so songs from the album and rather enjoying them. I also gave a listen to "Numb" and "Euphoria" after seeing positive reviews here, and didn't really enjoy them at all - I guess it just shows that Usher does R&B a LOT better than he does dance music.

Edited by THEO.

Really like this album. Some duds but some really killer tracks. What Happened to U <3
Have I read those last two posts correctly? I only came into this thread to see why ▲▲▲ had posted in a Usher thread.

Pretty decent record. The R&B section (Twisted through to Looking 4 Myself) is proper good. Twisted should've been the second single. It's a smash.

OMG I am f***ing ALL OVER Scream like a vile ass crack rash right now. There aren't enough disco emoticons IN THIS WORLD.

Really?! It's easily the worst on the album imo. Dreadful lyrics and cheap production ... sounds like a Taio Cruz song which is never a good thing.
Don't even attempt to get to me to try and justify but I really do like Scream as well, idek why because normally I would detest it but I really enjoy it. It is admittedly what Jack said (a cheap Taio Cruz song) but it's my top 3 of the album to be honest.

Appearently he's not done with this album yet as Twisted is the new single

I love this song, but it's pretty out of the blue. I agree it's probably because Pharrell is relevent again, and also this style of music is having mainstream success again.

It's good it's been saved to now I guess. If it was 2012 this would've been wasted as an "urban only" single or something. Not sure if it'll do anything though, it's been a while. It reminds me a bit of Eminem's last album where he had the two hit singles (although a much bigger scale than Climax and Scream), then No Love which kinda underperformed like Numb did, and then a massive gap and he surprised everybody with Space Bound.

well, I hope twistted is a hit for him, i prefer him when he sings this type of songs, rather than the europop thing
