I think Frankie has a great voice; I just think that she finds it hardest to stay on key without sounding out of tune. Whereas you have Mollie who struggles with holding a note for a longer amount of time but thats due to her lower range.

Also I agree with the idea that "Big Name Producer"=/=Better Quality. Thats why I can see all these Diane Warren/Rodney Jerkin-esque producers giving them their rejected/poor material.

I think that's quite a good observation. As Camille (the writer of What About Us said), Mollie is more of a pitch-perfect singer than Frankie. Mollie always seems to sing exactly where she should be singing in her range. Her voice is rarely shaky too. Whereas Frankie has more round-up/stronger feel to her voice, she has no control of it, she's almost always off-key or singing in a key she shouldn't be singing. (For example, on the acoustic version of What About Us her harmonies are way too high pitched. You don't need to sing that high to provide high harmonies. Plus, it seems she's singing them in head voice and it sounds a bit weak).

I think both have came a long away since the start, though.

They definitely sound better than the three real singers of the group sometimes. Not always, but in some performances, there's always one of the other three that disappoints while Mollie or Frankie surprises us.

Mollie definitely stepped it up with On Your Radar in terms of vocal share. So I hope it doesn't stop and she has even more on this new album. Same for Frankie, although I had the impression she didnt sing much in On Your Radar, bar Faster.

I quite honestly feel bad for Frankie. She was always sort of the favorite in S Club and had a lot of the vocals, and even in the video for If This Is Love she kind of appeared to be the lead of the group, but it all sort of went downhill from there for her. I don't know if her voice has deteriorated like Vanessa's or if the others have just improved while she has stayed the same.

Whatever the case, I find it ironic that she was the face of S Club while Rochelle was sort of in the background and now it's the complete opposite. That HAS to be a bit weird for both of them.

I just wish Frankie would gain more confidence. She's became really predictable in terms of vocals now. She either gets landed with a dreary/robotic section in the second verse (Higher, Ego, All Fired Up, What About Us) or she gets landed with two lines (Notorious, Work, Forever Is Over) or she gets completely ignored altogether (My Heart Takes Over, Issues, Up). She doesn't seem to have any challenging vocals or anything that makes her stand out from the other girls. Even her entire part in 'Missing You' was lifeless and "talky".

It's a shame because she's ALWAYS miming in TV performances and being overpowered by backing tracks at gigs and festivals.

Yes always tbh and she makes them the best. She's my favourite vocalist in the group
I really Frankie's voice when she performed "Love The Way You Lie" by Rihanna. Mollie surprised me when she performed "Wish I Didn't Know" on the All Fired Up tour. I think they're both good singers but I think Frankie is a bit more versatile than Mollie.

Really? I think Mollie could sing more types of music genres that Frankie and she has a better control of falsetto, vibrato and lower register so I've always said she was more versatile than Frankie.

Both can be surprising anyway! Their parts on What About Us is amazing. It's sad they are miming.

The clips from this album sound AMAZING.

Gentleman needs to be the next single. No doubt about it. It's unique and risky and there's a chance it could fail miserably, but I believe it would do better for the girls in the long run than something like 'Not Giving Up On Love' which would be just an "obvious hit". Gentleman is exactly what the girls need to stand out.

NGUOL sounds like All Fired Up part 2 so obviously it's amazing and would probably go top three, but it'll do nothing for those who claim The Sats only release generic music (and although What About Us was #1, it's definitely got alot of criticism for being one of their most generic releases), it would probably be amazing as a third single, though.

'Lease My Love' also sounds amazing. It should definitely be a post-album singles because I think it would shift alot of albums as Rochelle's vocals are very powerful and as it's produced by Darkchild I think it stands a good chance of being released.

Out of those we've heard I'd say single wise it should be What About Us > Gentleman > Lease My Love > Not Giving Up On Love

The difference is if Gentleman flops it would ruin the campaign before it started.

Well with radio firmly back on their side and a #1 single under their belt they now have the opportunity to take big risks like that now. I'd rather they took a risk than stuck to releasing generic material for the rest of their career.

Yeah, and theyve had great reception with the songs from fans and media alike
Well I think they should do never giving up on live so I can hear it in full faster lol

Airplay has supported What About Us, but that dosen't mean they would be quick to snub Gentleman. I'd rather they went for Not Giving Up On Love and Gentleman single #04 etc!

I think either one of them will do great on the charts!

Listening to the snippets of Lease My Love Again. My God @ Rochelle's vocals. :o Such power!

If the singles are picked properly I can really see this album being big and the girls being ALOT more credible and respected. I pray Gentleman, the album and then Lease My Love are released in that order. Not Giving Up On Love will be a huge mistake.

hey dont pray too hard, we gottsta hear the other 7ish tracks yet!!

They need a Biology type single (Gentleman) and a kickass single such as sexy! No no no
From what we've heard, NGUOL sounds like the safest choice for second single. Gentleman is too risky and will make the success of WAU worthless if it flops. At least NGUOL is along the same lines as WAU and sounds more instant/less corny (cue Frankie's nasally "So 1999"). They should worry about diversifying and branching out once they are really established as hit makers.

OMG this! She sounds so out of place. I somehow hope it's just a part of the recording session and it's not included in the actual song. It's so corny. Why does she sing with in that tone?
