I'd rather The Saturdays released later this year, they've just recorded with DJ Fresh *.*

E! are still willing for a series 2 of Chasing The Saturdays, it would be beneficial if they released the album towards the end of the year (same time series two premiered)

Did they really :o

Hoping for a Hot Right Now 2.0

Getting what?
i think itll drop in September - around the time of the third single. that way Frankie will only be around 6/7months so she will still be able to promote it. im doubting there will be a fourth single unless they turf one out before xmas/ego time to push album sales
Wasn't the original plan for the album to be released in mid/late May?

Yes.

I still think they can pull an album out after Gentleman on the 7th or 14th of July. That leaves them two months to built hype which is possible. Strike while the iron is hot, and all.

Although, I think we are looking for a very late September release sadly.

They should release this after Gentleman and if not, then they're looking at another flop. A summer release allows them to release a third single in September, avoiding the Christmas big releases.

They will need to start hyping the album now though if they want to release it after Gentleman. Having a release date and a name soon would be good for them (not just for us the fans lol  ). They could say during their upcoming gigs before performing Gentleman and What About Us : "Okay these next two tracks are from our upcoming album "name of the album" released on July 7. This is our #1 hit single, What About Us, if you know the words, sing with us!" and then later they announce Gentleman, and well you get the idea.

They need to plug their shit, basically. I know sometimes it may look desperate, but they just have to do it right.

I don't see why people think releasing after the single that follows Gentlemen means Christmas. Gentlemen is being released just over 3 months after What About Us. So another 3 months for the next single would be September, with the album in the first week of October, which should just be before the main christmas releases.

Wicked whispers suggest the girls will go their own way when Frankie gives birth. But the group - minus new mum Rochelle - told fans to expect a new album soon. Speaking in Derry, Frankie said: "Our album will be out late summer hopefully. We then plan to tour.

"We definitely aren't splitting."

They aren't even sure it will be out late summer. "Hopefully" ; ugh. Worse, it can't be released "late summer" as it wouldn't make sense. They need to wait their usual 10-13 weeks between singles which would put the release of the album to like mid-September or late-September. How is that late summer.

I just hope they actually release a single after the album. We haven't had a post-album single since 'Higher'!
I hate how because one of them gets pregnant they always think they are splitting up. The girls always say that they aren't gonna do that for a while. It will nearly be 2 years since OYR when the album is released then :/
Remember when the album was supposed to come out LAST summer? Then they had this plans for the US so they had to change things up and the album was going to be released in Spring (we all thought it would be around April because What About Us was supposed to be released in January) and now we're looking for a possible (but not sure yet!) late September or maybe even early October (because yes, add their usual 11-14 weeks between singles after June 30 and you will get there) release? Can they not?! <_<
I actually don't care that they keep pushing the album back. It's better to release an album when it can be properly promoted. (Remember OYR era when they were dealing with Frankie & the tour rehearsals?) I honestly rather wait until all 5 of them are back together & do a proper tour. This tour better go world wide. Even if it is as a support act here in Canada/US. Team Sats North America is waiting...

... But you just know they won't promote it because it's The Saturdays. So as a fan, I want the new music sooner than later, especially since I know, they won't do anything during that time they can't do right now promo-wise.

If the album is out late September/first-week October, Frankie will most likely be out of the picture as she's giving birth in November, so we're back at a 4-piece.

As I said, I'm pretty sure Rochelle will be back for the July promo, so technically they will be a 5-piece again during this time. It would have been the perfect time to release their album.

I'm confident when I say... I doubt 'Gentleman' is the best lead single for an album.

Good point.

I think they've realised that. No way will they release Gentleman and then wait a good few weeks for the album without another single. I reckon, another single after Gentleman, say mid October with the album out the week after, and with that, I assume they will plan to release another single around Christmas. I wonder if they will have 30 days on the album?
