Disco Love will do at least 40k first week, mark my words. They know they can't screw up with this single so I'm sure they have a few things up their sleeves. Gentleman was nothing more than a filler single anyway, used to bide time until Rochelle got back and the album was completed. I'm sure they'll have some good promo lined up for the single/album and airplay should be picking up soon.

It is early to predict chart placings but people are going to do it anyway :)

Slightly off topic, but the Wanted have delayed their album to November 5 to tie in with the *FIFTH* pre album single. So I guess its not so bad for us!
When I think about it, the sats could have gotten OYR to platinum if under good management. Boohoo that it only got to #23 but if they had released five more singles from it, it would've us sustained the album. Figure 8 by Ellie Golding was no success but it allowed the album to comeback into the top 20. It's sad to see the management give up so easily. Even pixie Lott got her album to a gold by releasing kiss the stars. I just hope they do this with living for the weekend. 6-7 singles from it should keep it going.

I bet they got - 'NGU' and 'LML' for US release. And UK release of both., when they return. But first, they gotta go there with their babies and hubbies , once Frankie is up and running :) This will probably get Omllie ready for their parenthood @ US.

It's hard to sell an album when all the singles are released before it, end of story. If there's nothing to keep it afloat it is going to sink like a rock. Also, releasing any more than 6 singles from an album is ridiculous. There should be 2 before and 3-4 after, depending on the success of the singles/album. They are consistently setting themselves up for failure by stalling their album releases.

I actually think they should release the album after ONE single. Go away, record the full album, don't say SHIT about it bar the fact you've been recording, and then when it's 100% done (and only then!), you announce the first single, do some TV-reality/documentary or whatever to built some mega hype because this actually the "COMEBACK" single. Obviously, the video premiere, radio tour, their usual average promotion, etc. There would be so much hype around the first single, the album would probably get as much if not more.

It didn't work with Forever Is Over because they went with that song way too quickly after the Chasing Lights era ended. Plus, it wasn't exactly the best song to lead an album or even just the best song of Wordshaker. However, it did actually work with Missing You. Headlines! charted at #3 with their biggest first week sales when sales are usually not as good as they are in October-November-December.

I guess two singles could work too. (Chasing Lights hasn't done too bad, has it? :P)

I don't think one single one album works though. Everyone was complaining about how it doesn't work after word shaker, it's funny how people are saying this again that it'll work. No 6 singles is okay for a good album campaign when you could possibly re-release it with new sings as well
Come on guys we all know they'll do Sunday Brunch and Daybreak for Disco Love, a Google Hangout for the album release, release 'Somebody Else's Life' as the next single then go to the US to visit a radio station and come home for a six month break.

I am actually really excited for this album! I honestly cannot wait to get it :P

I think the next single will be a ballad, It would be a nice change.

I want NGU though :( although im pretty sure Roch is gonna nail LML!

I wanna hear the 30 second snippets already!!

I keep hoping they put it on itunes to pre-order. I want the clips too! :(
I don't think they should go back to America at all tbh, it'd just be a waste of time I think. They need to focus on the UK, definitely.

Nah, I think the US makes everything a bit more exciting. It's nice focusing on the UK but how many times are we going to see Daybreak, Loose Women and the odd Alan Carr appearance? Their month in America earlier this year was an extremely exciting time being a Sats fan with Jay Leno, Today Show, Jeff Probst, Wendy Williams, Fashion Police etc all new shows and hosts and then sales are so much bigger over there and it's AMERICA!

Plus I think if they had success in the US it'd give their career a boost and we could maybe stop with the whole Greatest Hits/splitting thing.

It might make it exciting but it doesn't look good on them with the fact that they've flopped there and probably will again...

' What About Us ' did okay in America and has most likely passed around 70,000 sales! I assume worldwide ' What About Us ' should sell around 500,000+!

Hardly a flop if the song never got a pish. The reality show went downhill but the song itself never got a push.

The only reason, the show went down to 100k viewers is cause of the time change. Other than that 500k per episode could've been the minimum
I'm so freaking excited for this album. I just want to hear these new songs so badly.
Clearly they're terrified to release a ballad after MHTO. Leave A Light On sounds promising but then again Una is the one who said Gentleman was her favorite song off the new album... I don't get the hype for Lease My Love, it doesn't sound single worthy to me. I would classify it as high-quality filler. I'm all for the next single being a ballad and then NGU (unless there's something better).
