30 Days will probs be a bonus track for UK only (I love it but cant see them releasing it in the US) and they will do what they did with OYR and MHTO and release the album a week after the single :/

It will nearly be 2 years since OYR when the album is released then :/

1. Most artists leave it at least 2 years to release a new album.

2. Most artists release the album a week after the single. Leaving it any later kills momentum.

2 years might be the norm for big artists, but for someone like The Saturdays, 2 years between albums is a big risk. I think they're lucky that What About Us was a hit because if it flopped, it would have had a negative effect on 'Gentleman' and so forth and we could have ended up with another On Your Radar. However the fact What About Us was such a hit and the fact their profile has grown massively since late 2011 I'd say this album could end up being pretty big. It just depends on how 'Gentleman' does, really. We could have an Amelia Lily situation where the first single is big, second one underperforms and the third one flops or we could have a Calvin Harris type situation where all the pre-album singles are big hits and the album does well because of that. You just don't know.

It's in French, but I can tell you the juicy things.

The album is out in September or October.

They are going to Spain and Australia soon.

There won't be any more featurings on the album.

The album should be The Saturdays Pop with some dance and RnB tracks and some ballads thrown into that.

Woop woop! Thanks for translating Hurricane. I'm thrilled that they'll be heading back to Australia and starting promotion in Spain. Hopefully they actually have substantial gigs this time.

WHERE TO NEXT? WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE SATURDAYS FOR 2013 AND BEYOND?

We have loads going on! The next single coming out, album at the end of the year. Coming to see you guys! An American tour and Asia tour and a world tour next year we hope!!

O.M-US-G!

WORLD TOUR yall ;)

Nop, I really think they are just hoping they will tour in America and Vanessa only said Asia because of it's where she's from.

They said something similar for France too, like "Hopefully, we'll comeback and do a concert in Paris" or something like that. It's all "hope".

They need to wait their usual 10-13 weeks between singles which would put the release of the album to like mid-September or late-September. How is that late summer.

Well mid-September actually is late Summer, so...

That said I can't see how they could get the album out before the start of October.

Technically yes, as Summer ends on September 22 and that's most likely on that day they will release either the single or the album. If it's the single (it would make sense because it would be exactly 12 weeks after Gentleman), then the album is only going to be released on September 29 which is in Fall. But anyway I don't expect these girls (or their management) to know their seasons.

  • 5 weeks later...

Another interview about the album : http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/1191...bies-Girl-Power

Here are the juicy bits :

- Una prefers younger men, not older ones.

- The album is finished.

- They will release the next single and album in Autumn (finally, they got it right with the season)

- The next single is going to be a track they recorded a time ago...Hmm smell like Not Giving Up On Love

- The album is going to be pretty much dancey with some ballads thrown into that + Gentleman.

- No more collaborations.

"The album is pretty much dancey with some ballads"

Funny because I think they used that line with On Your Radar. I'm just waiting on them pulling out the "it's classic Saturdays" line too.

Well, Vanessa told a complete different story : http://www.digitalspy.ca/music/interviews/...topping-us.html

- The next single is a track they recorded not so long ago?

- They apparently have a "good mix" with something for everyone.

- Frankie will be leaving soon after Rochelle...Although I find it hard to believe. Rochelle will be back for the Gentleman promo and I don't see Frankie leaving before late August?

- OCTOBER DATE IS CONFIRMED.

- NO FREAKING GREATEST HITS. THANK GOD.

Something tells me the next single will be the one they did with DJ Fresh, hoping it's as amazing as GA's On The Metro, because to me that song has always sounded like it should have been a Sats song. :P

Una said they didn't record with DJ Fresh because he was "ill" (hungover).

Surely they would have just gone back another day? But if not... I didn't know that, is a shame!

I am guessing / Hoping that they recorded the vocals for DJ Fresh to remix or whatever he needs to do, so the song is released. It will probs be on his album tho. I tweeted him last year asking for a collab and he replied he would like to collaborate with them in a hot tub...
