If you already voted and realised that you missed something, you can change your votes if you want. You have until evening of SUNDAY, February 26th to vote. And yeah, vote for you favourite song, and not the country, etc.
February 19, 201213 yr Agreed. So many good, doomed songs. Unfortunately you may not vote for Dervish as it was shite. (I can make up rules too :kink:)
February 19, 201213 yr My thoughts on 2007's highs and lows; - France's song was bizarre, as was the performance, but it was oh so catchy and deserved more than it got in the end... - Czech Republic needn't have bothered, what a truly hideous debut :puke: - Nice track from The Netherlands but it was no Hemel En Aarde - Portugal and Norway having the same idea for an entry, Portugal got away with it due to it being a nice warm, sunny country. Norway? Inauthentic, one of my least favourite entries of theirs. - Andorra wuz robbed, very Blink 182 in sound and it at least deserved a place in the final, which it was SO close to making! - Ireland - what a glorious celtic song in studio form, the worst thing EVER live :drama: - Germany dabbling in swing/big band type music for the first time, the second to come two years later. Wasn't a fan but the Posh & Beckham name check stood out! - I'm a Verka hater I'm afraid, can't stand the song. It was amusing to hear it in the UK charts when it charted top 30 though admittedly  - A great Macedonian entry for once, well the second time in a row actually! Sorely underrated - Denmark sending the second drag queen, one was more than enough! - Hungary's superb vocal and deserved top ten with a very classy song that would be top three now with the juries back, that bus stop prop was inspired! - Bulgaria's best/only good entry to date - Water was truly stunning! And where the Danish entrant from 2002 who got to the Super Final reminded me of Sabrina The Teenage Witch's 'college years' redheaded friend, the Elitsa was the spitting image of her other friend, Roxy. Useless fact for you right there! - A stunning electropop masterclass from Russia, easily my favourite ever entry of theirs. A UK top 100 hit too iirc! - Belarus' majestic lost Bond theme from a guy that looked far more like Princess Di than either of William or Harry! - Spain and one of their admittedly better track of recent years. Still 10 years out of date and sounding like Ricky Martin 1997 album filler though. - DJ Bobo :( How did it DNQ, perfect novelty pop and brilliantly eccentric staging! - Sweden! Glam rock is not what I would have expected from the great home of schlager but it was a wonderful song nonetheless, even if only the UK properly appreciated it in the voting (along with the neighbour votes). Ok, Cara Mia would have been far better and I'd have personally preferred to see A Little Bit Of Love or I Remember Love on the Eurovision stage instead of The Worrying Kind but that was a stellar and incredibly diverse MF top four  - Serbia and an honourable debut, and contest winner. Embarrassing that the UK ignored it when the rest of Europe fell head over heels for it but that's us for you! Nice to see that a track not in English could still win. #112 SMASH in the UK charts, quite a few songs charted in the top 200 that year, more than I can ever remember beforehand or indeed since :o - None charted as highly though as SCO-CYNDI-OCH! Ok, they may have flopped at Eurovision and were always going to but the bizarre spectacle of seeing a bubblegum pop song from Eurovision beat Linkin Park's comeback single into the UK top five was hilarious and utterly brilliant. Easily our most remembered entry of the noughties I'd say, at least up until Jade and even then I think if you asked people to name a UK Eurovision entry from the 00s they'd say 'that Andrew Lloyd Webber song or Scooch'. So notorious, they were on the front pages of the tabloids for various reasons for days after their win. THAT Making Your Mind Up performance and subsequent cheap as chips video were genuinely hilarious, and yes they got my vote in MYMU. I should have known better but I always get nostalgia tears when an old 90s act reform. What a song, what a band
February 19, 201213 yr Author HIGHLIGHTS; - The qualifying bunch was literally the best set of qualifiers Eurovision has ever had. Not a single one that didn't deserve to get to the Final. Damn even most of the autoqualifiers are amazing. The Big 4 entries however really lacked in quality. - My favourite Georgian entry ever *.* - My favourite Bulgarian entry ever *.* - My favourite Belarussian entry ever *.* - My favourite Serbian entry ever *.* - My favourite Irish entry ever *.* - My favourite Macedonian entry ever *.* - My favourite Russian entry ever *.* - My favourite Czech entry ever *.* :kink: - DERVISH *.* - The swords during Sopho's performance. I was always thinking they would accidentally hit Sopho and she would bleed live. - Incredible winner. And the only non-english winner since GOD KNOWS WHEN (90's). - SEREBRO & VERKA. They define QoL. - Awful German entry got sandwiched between two incredible songs, thus spoiling everything. Same goes for UK coming after Ukraine. <_< - Bosnia ROBBED. - Dima Koldun's HUGE FOREHEAD. - UK. SO TERRIBLE. Edited February 19, 201213 yr by Ljósið
February 19, 201213 yr Also, this might be the only year which has a MALE as my favourite song/artist, even poor brave gorgeous Saade can't lay claim to that title (Wolfy is DUBIOUS).
February 19, 201213 yr Only for rubbishgais! Probably true, however I am no rubbishgai and I still find it crap.
February 19, 201213 yr Serebro are so winning this aren't they? :( Such a painfully average pop track. If there's any justice, Alenka Gotar and Elitsa & Stoyan will soar into the final!
February 19, 201213 yr A better year than I remember, I could probably send my votes right here and now. Andorra truly robbed, pretty good winner but it should've been Russia instead of them winning the year after, two drag queens who were both dreadful, Switzerland also robbed, brilliance from Sweden as per and of course SCOOCH. The moment they got 12 points from Malta was such a happy one. Belarus too, voted for them on the night. Edited February 19, 201213 yr by Jáhq
February 19, 201213 yr Scooch appreciation  NBOnDcmckdc - Duty free madam? - Would you like a complimentary drink with your meal sir? - Some salted nuts sir? - Would you like something to suck on for landing sir? David got all of the best bits (BJ David wishes it was him up there instead). Former Great Big British Quiz anchor Captain Russ and QOL Caroline were also amazing. It's not often that the lead singer is the most uneventful thing about a band/song/performance, poor Natalie :( Malta knew what they were doing.

February 19, 201213 yr 2003 made me a fan of Eurovision. 2007 made me a complete loon about it! I absolutely love this year, and after watching that recap I have about 27 countries I'd like to vote for! :drama:
February 19, 201213 yr Author 2003 made me a fan of Eurovision. 2007 made me a complete loon about it! ALMOST THIS :o 2006 was the first year I VHS'd this bitch and made a scoreboard with all the votes on paper the next morning. :D
February 19, 201213 yr Probably true, however I am no rubbishgai and I still find it crap. Judging by your faves last year and your vitriolic hatred of everything outside of them I think we can safely say you ARE.
February 19, 201213 yr 2007 was a fantastic year! :D Dervish were HILARIOUS. EDIT: the interval act was AMAZING. <3
February 19, 201213 yr Judging by your faves last year and your vitriolic hatred of everything outside of them I think we can safely say you ARE. My so called 'vitriolic hatred' is reserved for songs that are ABYSMAL, regardless or what genre or style they are.
February 19, 201213 yr ALMOST THIS :o 2006 was the first year I VHS'd this bitch and made a scoreboard with all the votes on paper the next morning. :D Haha, fantastic! :D I wish I had someone else to have discussions and do live ratings and scoreboards and stuff with, but I often feel very alone in liking everything Eurovision related, sadly :( Hell, I almost feel alone in liking pop music  :nocheer: Not including Buzzjack, naturally ^_^ Edited February 19, 201213 yr by Freeze
February 19, 201213 yr Why do the Scooch backing singers both look about 6 months pregnant? I forgot how hilarious the whole Flying The Flag incident was.
