If both Charlie Brown & No Light No Light go top 40 on Sunday i'll be so happy, it looked like they werent going to get there!! Well Coldplay will definitely (new peak #25) i'm just oping Flo gets in there too even if its just #40 :heehee:

Indeed No Light deserves to have a top 40 peak so we can look back at it on her discography!! :D

Don't worry, I think we were all the same.

Plus, it proves us all wrong that The Wanted only get hits just because their songs are held back, since they've climbed to #1 on Canada iTunes after 2 months (that's longer than Gotye took to get to #1 here!!).

Think both the wanted and 1D are in the us promoting now so i assume they went into canada too.....songs generally climb in these countries due to the dominance of radio plays etc. Think both groups got appearences on big prime time shows too due to Sychos influence!

I'm surprised Starships is climbing. In all honesty, I was expecting it to go top 10 off fanbase sales then fall down and then re-climb later. It could be a top 3 hit when its music video comes out.

Nicki's got a new song on iTunes next week I think, from Tyga's album. I don't see it doing very well, but it should go top 200 like Raining Men did (I think).

I'm not sure if One Direction have gone to the US to promote yet, since they only released the song last week, and it hasn't even been sent to US radio yet, and they were in the UK at the BRITs a couple of days ago. But I imagine they'll go and promote there soon. The Wanted, I think they've appeared on some TV shows in the US, and Glee Cast covered them last week (which is what boosted them to #5 on iTunes yesterday) and they're #15 on the airplay chart, so they've had lots of promotion, but that's all in the US. I don't know what they've done in Canada, but it's likely that they went there, or it could all be down to just the radio and MTV airplay.

Kelly Clarkson looks like she might knock will.i.am out of the top 10 in a bit.

Was WMYB not top 20 on US itunes a few weeks back, i had assumed they performed on a prime time show over there then - now radio is picking it up??

Nicki seems to be doing a lady gaga style promo - shes releasing new singles all the time - i saw one of her previous buzz releases on mtv last weekend which made me worried about Starships!?

WMYB reached #10 in the US iTunes on hype alone, I think. Now they're down to #32 and we'll wait and see how they will do once the airplay kicks in.

Rapture and Bad Girls rising :D I'm SO rooting for both tracks to get into the top-40. I have few doubts about M.I.A. now while Nadia Ali is in a big danger regarding this...

 29. Ni**as in Paris - JAY Z & Kanye West

Can't believe how well this is doing, I thought it'd be bigger than 'Why I Love You' but never would have expected it to go top 40. It could even outpeak 'Otis' at this rate :o :cheer:

Adele's entries starting to fall again now (21 RITD, 24 SLY, 32 SFTTR) but all should comfortably be top 40 this week I'd imagine. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are down to #33, I don't think they'll quite make the top 40 again unfortunately.

Coldplay still at 25 with Charlie Brown album version but the live version is now down to #49. Fingers crossed for it to get to at least #32 anyway so it outpeaks Princess Of China for the time being, it could still climb in weeks to come as there's still a while before the 'proper' release so it'll still be gaining airplay/video play etc. but I wouldn't be surprised if it does peak this week - at least it's going top 40 though, it looked like it'd miss out at one point.

M.I.A. back up to #43 - can it stop stalling at 42-4 and actually go top 40 though please.

Rack City could be top 40 next week alongside 'Niggas In Paris' if it keeps climbing at the rate it is :o Especially as Tyga's album comes out next week.

"Niggas In Paris" doing incredibly well. Would love it to outpeak "All of the Lights", it's a travesty Kanye's not been able to get a top 10 single off either "Dark Twisted Fantasy" of "Watch the Throne".

21. Adele - Rolling In The Deep

23. Coverdrive - Twilight

25. Coldplay - Charlie Brown :cheer: (#16 Combined)

30. Cher Lloyd - Want U Back

34. One Direction - One Thing

47. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars

I can't believe how well Jay-Z/Kanye are doing. It's unbelievable. I think they'll miss top 40 this week with all the BRITs songs though.

I noticed I Got 5 On It is 59p! :D Hopefully it gets used in another advert or something to keep it up. :D

Also, I read that Nicki is releasing a new song tommorrow. And she never holds songs back, so it'll be released in the next few days in the UK (if this is true).

And on a bit of a random note, why is there never any asian music in the charts? Like, there's usually not even one song in the top 1000 on iTunes. I find that very strange.

Coldplay - Charlie Brown  #24  Loving that its doing so well now! Live version #49 too :music:

No Light No Light #53 & live version is #63, is this enough for top 40 Sunday? Doubt it :(

Probably not unfortunately as it wasn't selling that much before the ceremony. It could outpeak 'Drumming Song' (#56) so it isn't their lowest peaker any more though. It has a third version just outside the top 200 as well.

My calculations put Florence at #31 combined.
It's a shame the BRITs don't broadcast at the very beginning of the week, since a lot of those songs could be getting much higher peaks.

Jesus even if they GAVE ME 59p to have it I wouldn't take it  Sometimes I lament the fact that I was around the first time for some of these songs and recall how god awful they were at the time! :(

The only song I'm interested in that is released, according to the schedule, next week is Skyscraper. Really really hope this can go top 10 minimum.

I wish I could remember when it was released tbh. It's amazing. It's nice to see a song like that being a mini-hit again. :)

Skyscraper is a nice song. Don't have a clue how well it'll do though. I could see it going anywhere from a good top 40 hit to missing the top 200 completely. A very difficult one to call for me.
