May 13, 201213 yr Not too sure on the dramas but I want to check out 'Elementary' just because of Lucy Liu. The comedies sound alright, going to try and watch 'Partners' at least as Michael Urie was great in Ugly Betty.
May 13, 201213 yr Elementary sounds ABSOLUTELY DIRE. Neither of the leads are up to much for my $$$ anyway and the idea of an 'up to date, US' version of Sherlock Holmes is just so wrong I can't even muster enough hyperbole to cover it.
May 13, 201213 yr Author The existence of Elementary goes some way to proving that TV execs are retarded and Hollywood is having an ideas shortage.
May 13, 201213 yr Vegas looks immense. Cannot wait to see what it's like. I wonder which comedy will get paired with Big Bang Theory? At a guess I'd say Friend Me. Looks like Person of Interest will be moved to Thursdays at 10pm.
May 14, 201213 yr Crossbones is just a script which has gone straight to series, there's no pilot or anything yet hence no premiere date or anything.
May 14, 201213 yr Johnny Lee Miller (lead in Elementary) is astounding! Trainspotting and Frankenstein in which he and Benedict Cumberbatch alternated between the role of Victor/Creature.That said, I too think the show sounds horrendous. Sherlock Holmes in rehab?! Watson a woman?! I can see it going down the typical Bones/Castle route with the will they/won't they business, but I will watch the pilot at least, mainly because I think he's a brilliant actor. I also find it rather ironic that he is playing the role that Cumberbatch does on the British adaptation, especially as the monster/scientist in Frankenstein are like doubles of each other :heehee: Edited May 14, 201213 yr by GrAmii
June 22, 201213 yr I heard a couple of weeks ago that Lifetime were in talks to pick up failed ABC pilot 'Devious Maids' and they now have, a 13 episode order for a 2013 launch. :D
June 22, 201213 yr Wow. Honestly never thought that would come to anything. By most accounts though it's a rotten script so I'm not particularly excited.
November 2, 201212 yr This is canadian, but the first episode of Primeval: New World (Primeval spin-off) has aired on Space. MAJOR disappointment. I had to try 5 times to watch a 40-minute episode. Bad plot, bad acting. Very bland. Andrew-Lee Potts guest-starring only saved it.
November 2, 201212 yr Good I didn't start watching that! :D Oh you should watch it and judge for yourself, perhaps you will like it. I will be giving it a second chance as the pilot was only an introduction. Maybe I'll have a marathon at Christmas.
