I'm struggling to see how they'll fit everything into 2 hours? Will there be time for a full scoreboard an everything?

 

It might be because I'm used to NFs like Spain taking 3 hours for 3 songs :kink:

Had my Melodifestivalen CD on at work today to get me in the mood.

I'm struggling to see how they'll fit everything into 2 hours? Will there be time for a full scoreboard an everything?

 

They manage to fit 8 songs, voting, results reveal & encore performance of the DTG songs into 90 minutes. Not hard really, only two extra songs and slightly longer results reveal, plus only one encore performance right? It is a full scoreboard from each jury + public vote.

True! I think I'm just used to the NFs of Spain etc. that last for ages!!! :D

 

Just a quick question, but I'm wondering will all MF final entries be vetoed from BJSC next contest, or just Loreen and Danny? (Depending who wins!). Because I've been in a BJSC after MF, so I'm not sure how strict the mods are about it :)

It depends on which one you enter. Something like Euphoria, Amazing or Mirakel will probably be vetoed, but something like Pa Vag or Aldrig Aldrig might make it through.

Well the two heats (1 & 4) I've watched and the Andra Chansen have both been great, and I'm sure the final will be brilliant! :D

Exactly this! It's the first time I've followed MF all the way through (except when I was away fro heats 2&3) and it has been great!! A LOT better than watching Let's Dance :lol:

There's a report of some sort of threat in the arena where MF is about to take place! :o

It writes SVT report on its site.

Eurovision Song Contest kicks off in half an hour.

According to the police in Stockholm, will threat be frivolous. Police will listen to the tape recording to assess the threat, type SVT report on its site.

Thereafter, a determination of whether the Globe will be evacuated or not.

Same, I followed it a teeny bit last year (I watched one of the heats and listened to all the songs in the final) but this year I've been fully involved and I love it, it certainly filled some of the gap between X-Factor and BGT (or rather The Voice now I guess) as a great thing to watch on a Saturday night, even though I have no idea what they're saying except for when they namedrop someone :lol:

This is my 2nd contest watching it, but last year, I missed little bits - I've made sure I don't miss ANY this year.

 

Has the quality been as good as last year? Probably not. I still listen to I'm In Love, Popular, In The Club, Dance Alone, My Heart Is Refusing Me, Me And My Drum quite regularly. I'm not really sure if I'll listen to anything other than Amazing, Shout It Out, and probably after Eurovision, Euphoria that much after the competition.

And, whatever this EscXtra thing I just clicked on, it's horrendous.

This will be my first melodifestivalen I've watched. :D

Nah, 2011 was much much better than this year. I'd say this is on par with 2010 (hopefully without the piss weak winner).
