If 'Elephant' misses the top 5 officially, I really don't know what Alex's next move will be.

If she doesn't have Radio 1 or Capital support, she's not exactly in the best position with this album campaign. She needs to release this rumoured David Guetta collaboration as her next single or feature on a Flo Rida track. Something that will get her back on the radio playlists.

It's not that easy once an artist is blanked by those 2 stations. She'll have to hope she's built up a loyal fan base but that will also be difficult having only released one album.

I wish her well as she seems to one of the very few Artists to come from X Factor with any real gumption.

Yeah, she really needs the airplay. It was the main promotion for a lot of her previous singles. I was thinking, perhaps her new record deal is part of the reason she's got less radio play.

Well if the UK radio stations are blanking her, she could always do a "Jay Sean"/"Natasha Bedingfield" and try to crack the states. I'm normally against UK talent abandoning their roots but if the British don't appreciate such talent like Alex, she may as well try and get appreciation from America. They love confident women over there.
The Alex situation just makes you think, that without any signiticant radio support, it can still get to #5 on iTunes, it could've been massive with support from the likes of Capitol and Radio 1.

Or Pitbull... oh wait, this already happened :o

If she does well enough radio 1/capital may be forced to support the single!
Seriously the top 4 haven't really moved for the past few weeks, apart from Nicki Minaj, looks like Flo Rida/Sia is going to get a 4th week at #4 in the official chart this week. There must be a big gap between Flo Rida and Alexandra

Who can view the popbars on itunes, how big is the gap to 4. What a pain for livepopbars to go down this week.

Keep climbing Elephant and Go your Own Way, I hope Lissie goes Top 40.

30. 212 (feat. Lazy Jay) - Azealia Banks

37. Bad Girls - M.I.A.

39. Rack City - Tyga

Oh come ON, make that top-40 all three, please! Azealia is quite safe it seems but I'm really not sure about the other too.

One thing that makes me very angry about some people in this country is how girls that are talkative and animated like Alex get treated by some people.

If the lower 2 can stay top 40 at this time of the week by midweek they will hopefully rise further like last week so hopefully they can make top 40. :D

Just listening to Michael Kiwinuka in the live lounge, hopefully it can challenge the top 100 at least!

Also wonder if a download position of 97 is enough with his high physical sales top get another top 40 hit?

39. Rack City - Tyga

Tyga has an album out today, Rack City should start to climb at some point.

Yes that will be the reason it's failing to make No 1 in the uk, not because it's just not that good.

I have said like a million times that I don't like the song.

M.I.A. always seems to fall at the start of the week and then rebound midweek. Hopefully it can make the top 40 - it's such a brilliant track!

Lets be nice people.

I am sure Capital are just smarting because they did not get the premiere. I do not feel bad about that as Alex gets press and television promotion.

It is very annoying that so many good UK acts like Natalia Kills, VV Brown, Cocknbullkid, Dionne Broofield, Jamie Woon get next to no radio support.

Yet they are all so talented and better than most of what is in the charts. It is not as if the American acts are better but UK radio pimps them hard.

I don't think Alexandra will be top 5 come Sunday, I am predicting around #6-7, I am sure she will be incredibly front loaded.
