The Almost Saturday Charts are a Mike Robinson production, & based on an average of positions from 5 download sites, iTunes sales, & the odd physical from HMV.

Now, Mike is planning on finishing the Almost Saturday Charts. Mainly because it's run it's course & grown out of date. Mike (of course) did some work for MRIB before they went into recievership & the Almost Sats, have been based around those charts, since April 2008, when they stopped doing Music charts. These days, Mike concentrates on chart based material for Internet Radio & RSL Stations. The new look "Ultimate UK Chart" goes out on about 200 stations around the World & has doubled it's audience in the last few months. Why has that happened? Well, because it's ahead of anything else & Free To Air on any Radio station, without profits. Mike is a professional gambler & can afford to do it all for free, for those that believe in "Free" Radio.

So, how does "The Ultimate UK Chart" work? Well, unlike iTunes it uses a partial day's sale & is practically a 16 hour chart based on sales & Internet Radio Airplay. This provides a "real" most up to date chart. Some compare it to iTunes, but iTunes only runs a hour to hour chart. You don't get the full chart in one. "The Ultimate UK Chart" runs over 4 hours & you get 54 songs & an extra rundown of 50 to 41.

Now, if you are involved with or run an Internet Radio Station & want to run that chart. Here is an example of last Sunday's script: (as you can see, it's really not far away from any midweek charts)

You seem to have got last week's US positions by mistake :P

EDIT: Oh, reading comprehension failure on my behalf.

Edited by Engelbré

Tinchy the highest new entry of the week then i guess!

Or not as Stooshe have been ahead on iTunes and officially all week, so yet again demonstrating that this chart doesn't reflect reality.

38 NE MAN OR MUPPET - JASON SEGEL & WALTER from the new Muppet movie, it's Jason Segel, the US actor puppeteer. The last time the Muppets were in the charts, was when "Don't Dilly Dally On The Way" went to #19 in January 1978

Actually, the last time The Muppets were in the chart was Christmas 2009, when their version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' went top 40. Before that, Animal from the Muppets had a solo top 40 single with his version of 'Wipe Out' reached no.38 in 1994.
