Toni Braxton has premiered her new single I Heart You:

I really like it, not as good as any of the Pulse singles yet for me but it could be a grower. One thing though is that takes too long to get going...

As for the album, it's out in May and has 9 new songs and one remix! No further news yet though.

Seems like she's completely abandoned any hope of commercial success and is just putting music out for the fans/on a budget now. Nothing wrong in that and the single is actually pretty fucking good. Great production.

It's pretty good yeah - I'd rather another big ballad a la Yesterday though (naturally), but this'll do nicely. The album will no doubt be rubbish again though.

This song is amazing, especially considering she produced it herself.

Reminds me of some 90s dance tracks :) That's always a good thing in my book.

Really loving this now, so good. It's like stereotypical dance-pop 'for teh gayz' but it's so impressive!
I actually love this! Always had a soft spot for Toni, love her voice.
I love her, but like Jark said, I think she realises she's not gonna be commercial and sell like she used to. I love the song, but if 'Yesterday" can't do much then this definitely won't. As long as the albums decent I'll be happy, regardless of sales!

The album's going to be called Heartstrings + Synagogue Vibes.

That's not even a joke.

I'm sure I Heart You will be totally out of place in a 'Run The World on 4' type way then, as it's just generic dance for the gayz

What if I Heart You isn't even on it and it's a horrible gospel album with some choral religious remix of Unbreak My Heart as the 'remix of an old track'? :( I'm probably being pessmistic but that'sthe title make me think...

(also wtf at 'Heartstrings + Synagogue Vibes'?)
