I loved the scenes between Cricket and Heather, especially the one during the hunting.

 

Carlene getting shot on her ass was also hilarious :D

 

That guy who plays Landry is kinda sexy

Landry and Boseman are both hot.

Episode 6 was RIDICULOUS. The whole thing played like a massive parody. I loved it! Cricket owned just about every scene obviously but the one with the stag was my favourite. I'm still not sure about Carlene's brother yet.

 

Carlene's brother is UNBELIEVABLY hot. I cannot take my eyes off him, whenever he's in a scene.

Bah. He's a plank of wood. I find him strangely unsexy and difficult to watch.

 

Blake and Cricket's sex scenes were fucking hysterical. They own this entire show.

 

Yeah I dont find him that attractive either, he played a gay guy on Brothers & Sisters. He's good looking but lacks sexappeal

 

Cricket is by far the best character, although I do love Carlene battling it out with Amanda.

I love this show. So knowingly OTT and tacky but still manages to convey emotion. Escapism television for the recession era.

Oh my God. Just. Wow. This programme is absolutely unreal. SO much happened that I just can't even begin to breathe again. Such a good show.

I'm the same Lovett. The sing off may just have TOPPED Amazing Grace for sheer LUNACY. AMAZING.

I need to start watching this!

The only dull character on this show is Amanda.

Nah Heather is the weak link right now. She's not bad though, just a bit wishy washy because they don't really seem to be giving her much to DO beyond being the perpetual victim.

Sharon is pissing me right off as of the 5th episode. Her husband too, can't for the life of me remember the dull shits name.

 

This show is superb though. Hilarious!

It took a while but Sharon grew on me by about episode seven. Zach the husband is pretty dull though.

Yeah she also grew on me after a while.

Found the finale a bit of a disappointment. :( It was just too different from the other episodes, too much farce and dodgy acting (which is crazy because they're all brilliant usually so obviously the script wasn't up to it). I don't know why a show which is all about Dallas would decide to set its finale in Mexico. The previous episode with the BBQ contest would've been much more fitting as a finale aside. Good to see Amanda and Pastor Tudor FINALLY act on their attraction though!

 

I'll be sad but not gutted if it doesn't come back for season two. Story wise there's not many places to go now Carlene and Amanda are on better terms.

 

Indeed (I haven't actually watched the finale), but it does seem to have come to a fairly nice conclusion already what with Amanda and Carlene now being on good terms. I'm sure the MEJICO thing is left as a cliffhanger, but i don't really care about that shit.

Just watched it and I really don't want it to end :( It wasn't hilarious like the singing things before, but it was pretty funny throughout.
