RedOne Rate RESULTS.

 

So we've made it. An astonishing FORTY-ONE of you rated, and it is now time to count down the 27 songs. I will group the ones that are officially BuzzJack's worst first, and then in groups of two until we get to our Top 10!

 

So are you all complete and predictable GaGa loons, or will something from one of the other artists edge in?

27 Enrique Iglesias & Usher ft Lil' Wayne – Dirty Dancer // #21 (4.06)

So BuzzJack - being as predictable as they are - place Enrique's Dirty Dancer bottom of this list with a song which sound pretty much identical to another song still to come to me. No suprises the song still to come is by a female. This didn't do as well as Enrique had hoped I presume, we haven't seen him since; I Like How It Feels, featuring The WAV.s (who also appear on that pretty much indentical song, coincidentally) seems to have avoided the chart completely. Then we move onto our lowest placed UK #1 on this list, of which I rate it the highest. Great fun, in my opinion. Clearly not, in everyone elses. Jason Derulo sneaks into the Top 25 with Fight For You, despite being a #15 peaking hit in the UK, it didn't hang around very long and is our second most forgotten song here, with SIX '??'s. :o

Dirty Dancer is Enrique's second best single from his Euphoria era. Shame that it came last. I think that number 1 song is very predictable unfortunately.

In homage to the great RedOne, I have decided to place to 'RedOne Jimmy Joker Remix' as the video for More, which I believe was the single version, no? Anyway, it is hardly the worst song ever, accumalting no '-1's, however a handful of '00's place it low on this list. Nick F1 loves it though, back to Yeah's and OMG's for Usher, I take it? One of my favourite RedOne songs, Fire Burning, does horrifically in this rate. For me it's easily his best and it's generally regarded by most as one of Sean Kingston's best too. Surely that must highlight how shit the rest of his discography is if this can only make it #23 on here? :lol:

More is nothing less than brilliant especially video version :wub:

HUZZAH at Start Without You making it beyond the bottom five! *.* The standard deviation must be massive for it though...

I think I can guess the top two quite easily. Not sure about the rest, but I'm willing to be surprised.

 

Nothing bad happened so far, I knew Fight For You wouldn't make it very far, and the rest isn't particularly great...

I actually really like 'Fire Burning', the only good song Sean Kingston will ever do! 'Fight For You' isn't that bad and 'More' is catchy but highly generic. The rest I could do without.

 

'Start Without You' definitely should've been last, not one single redeeming quality. -_-

Quite literally the best members right there and you're not included. :(

I'll try to pop a couple out this evening! Only really disappointed in Fire Burning coming so low in this. :( I fully expected She Makes Me Wanna to be swimming near the bottom, but I genuinely though Fire Burning was more liked. The other 3 are a selection of some of his worst productions imo. (Especially Dirty Dancer)

22 Kelly Rowland ft The WAV.s – Down For Whatever // #6 (5.37)

Somehow managing to get a whole point more than it's identical cousin, Dirty Dancer, Kelly Rowland is in at #22. We see our first female! Though I personally believe this should be lower... It's a fairly polarising song, will a couple of lovers and a handful of haters. Enrique squeezes in at #21, just missing the Top 20. Unlike Kelly, he still has another hit to come. Whist I don't think I Like It is anything particularly special, I do like it as it's a good fun song. :D Ryan741 is loving both of these; MelodiVÜLKivalen, not so much.

Poor I Like It. It's one of the most euphoric things Enrique has done. Of course, the singles from Euphoria got steadily worse, but I like It was really quite something.

 

And Down For Whatever has aged well, from my point of view, it's nice. Still an On The Floor ripoff, but nice.

Poor Kat DeLuna, 8 raters either hadn't heard Run The Show or had fogotten about it (I urge you ALL to watch the video above to remind yourselves of this!). :( Nonetheless, you still manage to squeeze your way into the Top 20 here. It's also the first single to be released in the UK out of this list if I recall, way back in the first half of 2008. :o Kat DeLuna has managed a whole ZERO hits in the UK since this, though another RedOne production featuring her (Darin's Breathing Your Love) I believed should have had a push. :( Pitbull marginally edges her into #19, it's gonna be a while until we next see him in this countdown. Must have been a fairly love-hate song with so many 0's, I personally find it fairly forgettable by RedOne's standards...
