Can't argue with that as I also rank Russia (Belarus doesn't just have a winning sound, as much as i like it) higher than Serbia, but I still think Marija desevred to win

I found it quite boring song..Meaningless for a contest like Eurovision. Eurovision is not oly the best voice but also the best performance. It would be better for a festival like "San Remo".

Molitva quite clearly had the best performance of the night, whatever you made of the song! Absolutely breathtaking...
Dancing Lasha Tumbai CLEARLY should have won.

Ukraine should've won in 2007 and 2008. How 'Shady Lady' got beaten that non song from Russia I'll never know. :(

Dima Bilan didn't deserve the winning in 2008! "Never Let You Go" was a million times better than "Believe". Of course, "Shady Lady", "Secret Combination" or "Qele Qele" should have won..Not the dreadful ballad. But so many ex-russian nationalities in the contest the last years. That's why...They give the points each other..
Shady Lady was ROBBED. Ukraine really should have done the double in 08/09.
Prepare for #378 SMASH!

For now...

Even if she fails now, Loreen will return, with the rest of Europe behind her.

:D

Any sign of 'Facebook (Uh Oh Oh)'? MI PIACE.
Its a class tune i must say. I would love to see this top the charts but im not sure if it will happen or not.

Yeah, that's why Russia came 17th last year :/

People overestimate the power of neighbour votes.. I don't think any song has ever WON because of them.

Azerbaijan has always done pretty well though but clearly won last year because was the least disliked song throughout Europe.

I don't get the 'least disliked' argument that I've seen pop up a few times recently, who picks up their phone to vote for the most inoffensive song as opposed to the one that stood out to them the most?

Pretty sure that Satellite wasn't the least disliked song in the 2010 contest, surely Me & My Guitar or something similarly MOR would be more likely to win that award. Satellite was the most popular song but it had just as many haters.

Do you forget it..? Azerbaijan (Ex-Russian Nationality) won the contest..

Why didn't they win every year from 2007 to 2010 then? Why did Armenia/Belarus DNQ in 2011? Surely they should've just won the whole thing as well?

As you know, every rule has an exception..Ukrania was second in 2007 but Balcan countries reacted as ex-russian nationalities. They gave the points each other. Also, Central European countries supported it. Fairytale and Satellite were massive songs. If they werent the winners then anyone would take the Eurovision seriously...
