I think The A Team should be treated as a sort of "buzz single" for Ed in the U.S to build up a fanbase and radio support before releasing Give Me Love as his first main single. It's had exposure on The Vampire Diaries and the Victoria Secrets ads, plus it's an AMAZING song that i can see getting loads of airplay.

At 82... wow, I really didn't think this song would take off. I mean poor Rebecca's been out for over 3 months and I've not seen "Nothing's real but love" rear its pretty head even once inside the top 200. Or forget Rebecca, what about our beloved Kylie who performed GOMW on AGT and still no sign!

I'm curious to see the effect on the US charts of Americans returning from Europe after summer vacations. This is what made We No Speak Americano into a hit last summer.

Agree, but I really would think that they'd go with A team considering her's performed that on all his TV perf's here, plus it's been a proven intl hit. I just wonder why it's not taking off on radio... it could be a major hit.

Yes, the US video is the original version and there's no sign of the Astro remix on iTunes thank God. That Astro remix was an atrocity.

Chris Brown also doesn't seem to be making anywhere near as much impact as he did with 'Turn Up The Music', this era seems to have died a bit.
