Oh and I heard on the radio today that Michael is planning on doing a big concert here in Ireland to thank us for being to nice to him when he lived here last year - apperently the near 100,000 seating Croke Park is a strong possibility :o

I've been mainly listening to Bad, Dangerous, HiStory and Invincible today. Invincible is so underrated, it is a really brilliant r&b album, lightyears better than both of JT's albums, but it is seen as a flop, and only had one proper single. Apperently 7 singles were planned for release, can you imagine how big sales would've been then considering it sold 8m on just one single :lol:

Yes, the whole album was a complete and utter mess - not in actual quality, but the whole zero promotion. There was meant to be 7 singles and vids. Michael originally wanted to release "Unbreakable" as the lead single with a 20 minute video, but Sony wanted him to release You Rock My World. Anyway, the album sold in amazing 5.4m in only 2 months, but the chairman of Sony, Tommy Mottola (who used to be married to Mariah Carey), had personal issues with Michael. Apperently Michael had told him he would not be re-sigining with Sony after his Number One's album, so from then on Sony refused to release any singles or video's. The second single 'Cry' got zero promotion and did'nt have a proper video, just a load of people holding hands on a beach, no Michael or anything. :rolleyes: I don't know why that single was even released, as it is one of the worst on the album. :wacko:

 

Anyway, Dangerous and HiStory are both great albums, but they have to grown on you. ^_^
