Did you have a nice service ?

The service was wonderful. It was to celebrate 25 years since the repairs from a disastrous fire. There's a magnificent modern window in this church which I had forgotten about. I want another closer look at it, so I might go there this weekend.

Sounds amazing, usually I don't like modern and old combined together.

 

Alot of our churches have these awfull things built beside the church for the priest to live in :(

 

I understand they wanna live to modern standards but it's not a beautifull sight.

This church was practically destroyed by the fire. It was all repaired 25 years ago which is why the window was built as a memorial.

 

The priests used to live in the chamber above the porch when there was a porch. There is an example about 20 miles away from me.
