Ooh, I know the one you mean, not stayed there though. But, like Chris, I think Binfield is quite quiet/posh so maybe that's why they seemed strict.

I must say you've created the first thread that's been bursting with awesomeness in an AGE, André! We just need more cheerleaders and some HILARIOUS random pictures to complete it.

Like his former partner-in-crime JamesP, Chris is surprisingly high considering he has spent the last couple of years being judge and jury of the Lounge, criticising threads, posters and moderators left, right and centre and condemning Tirrun for being the Hitler-esque fascist he is. All of that whinging, combined with a period of time when he did (presumably) ENJOY Buzzjack, obviously adds up. Comparable to only Silas in the grumpy and angry man stakes, Mr Fishlock has taken a step back from being the LEAST NICE of the Seven Dwarfs of late now that JamesP also seems to have backed off, and is available for Indie/rock related banter in the genre forums.

Politically-incorrect Craig was no-nonsense with his alarmingly narrow-minded and borderline-racist and homophobic views, preferring to ram them down people's throats and stubbornly refuse to back down from them rather than participating in actual debate. No wonder then, that he and Grimly got on so well. He was famously a very successful businessman thank you very much - the only reason he spent all of his days on Buzzjack arguing with pre-teens and challenging moderators' authority is because his business was SO successful (and imaginary) that it needed nobody at the helm. He famously caused a number of walkouts when members wanted him banned and management refused - leading to the departure, nay DEMISE, of icons like mushymanrob and thisispop. For some reason he was allowed two accounts (don't look at me) and combined they place him NINTH.

Probably best known these days for "doing a Tyler" and relinquishing language (overrated, apparently) in favour of short, annoying animated pictures, Pavel is everybody's favourite Russian - except for those who prefer Arrs or Stalin (and there are a few.) Despite very rarely using words these days, Pavel manages to blend a massif love for Eurovision and a taste in obscure indie music with a loathing of homophobic Russia (who knew?), whilst also boasting some of the most bizarre and pointless usernames Buzzjack has ever suffered.

Kelly was the Queen of Buzzjack before the majority of the people reading this were even BORN. Kind, friendly yet fabulous with a tendency to tell you to f*** right off, Kelly didn't suffer fools gladly which made her reign as Global Mod and Admin pretty terrible for any forum loons who thought they'd chance their luck. Hugely popular (imagine Tirrun-esque popular COMBINED with Gooddelta levels, and you're almost there), Kelly pretty much ran the forum single-handedly back in the day. She was a huge Mariah fan who kickstarted the fad of having an off-topic thread in each AF (Lambylove Inc being the original). She still makes occasional visits but she could be with us as a Lounge regular to this day if she wasn't STILL expecting her quadruplets three years into the longest pregnancy since Mariah popped dem babiez.

Aw I used to love Kelly. She was always so nice and welcoming to me when I first joined all those years ago. Hope she's doing well with all those bbz.

I have to say. Buzzjack is amazing. The sheer ingenuity and invention that goes into presenting one of these things is what makes life worth while. The commentary is rarely if ever less than spot on. Love the pics too. Same with the Cloose in the Buzzchart. I've threatened to leave a few times and I'm really glad I didn't. It's entertaining and enriching in equal measure.

Tardré is an odd one. Having in many ways been the ORIGINAL progenitor of THE PROPHECY™, having been for the first few months of Buzzjack's tumultuous existence been a slightly more :cheer:-addicted 2006-tastic version of R V OWN REGINA (FERVENTLY heterosexual, and you were DAMNED if you questioned it), Tardré proceeded to embrace his newfound fortunate homosexuality c. August 2006 in the tried and tested fashion of many who have since followed in his footsteps - by taking over an internet music forum and FUCKING his way to the TOP! (see also: [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Jark, Dandy*)

 

Since then he has been primarily found being hideously sarcastic towards all and sundry, coming out with lines so dry Jark mistook them for his latest batch of homebrew cellar wine upon ending up on the wrong side of one, spending three days laying face down in what he assumed to be an alcohol poisoning-induced coma in the computer while he was logged onto the Lounge Staff forum (I'll QUOTE IT ONE DAY). This is one of Tardré's favourite pursuits, along with having his back doors smashed in like boom boom boom by [REDACTED] on a monthly basis and studiously brushing off all snark relating to him being two thirds of Buzzjack's most famous power couple since before Chrames fell out after JamesP's dramatic oxpiss revelations in August oh ten.

 

In short he is ALL YOU SHOULD ASPIRE TO BE - online, powerful, and COUPLED (it's the PROPHETIC TRIANGLE™. One can be two but RARELY THREE AT ONCE). That and FABULOUS, so while he's spent a great deal of time in the Lounge in his time here being otherwise irrelevant, perhaps he has learned a few things to prevent that from otherwise besmirching his character. Therefore, when he next tells you to shut up, DO SO.

The original Regina (apols for the second mention in a row, twas not deliberate) who spent years denying that he was a homo amid claims he was in fact in love with a girl from Croatia, it was inevitable that once Dave went to uni he’d pull on some skanky gay club attire and rush straight into the nearest circle jerk whilst belting classics by Enya (as covered by Jade Ewen.) Having single-handedly doubled the amount of men with Chlamydia in the South Yorkshire area, these days Dave is much more likely to be seen in the Eurovision forum, avoiding past conquests at a GUM clinic or shouting “OI SLICK” at the top of his lungs towards a drunken Buzzjack admin wearing a rabbit-caught-in-headlights expression on his face.

 

In a rare moment of seriousness, I must agree with Tony... this thread has been an utter joy so far and the commentary keeps getting better as you go along.

I think if any member of Buzzjack – be it a Lounge regular, an iTunes loon or an AF poster scared to come out into the light – was asked to name a well-known BJ member, Jester would be one of the first people to come out of their mouth. Friend to all, Matt (so original he doesn’t need a dot, or a cease and desist order, THANK YOU) has been omnipresent and enduringly popular since the day the site opened, working tirelessly behind the scenes and often in front of the scenes too to make sure that everything ticks by as it should. Kelly what? Gooddelta who? What’s a Tirrun? Sure, that Slick’s pretty good-looking but WHO IS HE? Jester tramples all over the rest (as nicely as he can of course, trying not to offend anybody and only if he really has to) and quite rightly too. I couldn’t imagine this site without him and his ICONIC status is cemented here by coming third in the all-time Lounge posters list. (Most of those were probably “hilarious” pictures of odd-shaped cheeses with lots of :cheer: and :rofl: from back on ’06, but that’s NOT THE POINT.)
